Just got a text notice from DHL that the studio monitor stands I ordered Monday night from a company in York, UK will be delivered today. Impressive. Over 4K miles in less than two days.

Learning more about driveshafts and u-joints, and found a couple of very informative videos that explain the vibration I'm seeing.

The posts on this topic remind me of the summer I spent in Anchorage working at the garage/tire dealership owned by my younger brothers. A customer came in with an almost new pickup truck and said it had a vibration that the dealer had not been able to identify and correct after several visits. They had checked tire balance, but he decided to have a tire dealer check it. So, after driving the truck and putting it up on the lift for inspection, my younger brother told him he thought the problem was the u-joints on the driveshaft, and told the customer what we'd charge, parts and labor, to change them. The customer was understandably a bit reluctant since the dealer had assured him the u-joints were just fine, since they were good and tight. My brother told him, "Yep, tight they are and I think that's your problem. We'll replace them and I've already told you how much it'll cost. But if that doesn't fix the problem, you'll have brand new u-joints and owe us nothing." Needless to say, that fixed the problem and we had another happy customer.

65°F and .23 inches rain.

Found some seals and o rings for my backhoe, maybe I get lucky and fix the leaks. Will be very handy for my trenching.

Drew, that big project has mostly been on hold last several weeks due to weather, my cabinet diversion, , tractor challenges, taxes, now this. At least adding the high pressure line from tank to tractorshed is contributory.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Lawnmower is ready for grass to start growing. My arm is pain free. But my fall a couple of weeks ago is still painful when trying to get into tight places. Couple of Tylenol and back to saving energy.

Hope those ailments get better, Ron. I mowed our yard this morning before the mist started, more rain expected tonight. Of course today was the third time I've mowed this month, three times last month, and once in February.

David, don't think of it as an unwanted cut in the concrete, think if it as a needed expansion joint to prevent future cracks and it is conveniently located where you can lay new pipe.

For replacing your gas line sometimes a person can open up both ends,
then pull the old pipe out while using it to pull the new line in.
No trenching required one opening at each eand or segment.
Good Luck

that's the spirit, I'm sure David was going to cut it all up anyway...:D
And those concrete saws are such a pleasure to be around.
But then David's infrastructure project should be finishing.
Until he builds his miniature fusion reactor that runs on pineapple juice.

lawn care guys got done in two hours what the last bunch did in three.
Now I go see what got haircuts that shouldn't have but so far so good.
And if they can get it done in two hours, I can afford to get it done a few extra times each month.

Ran the Farmall up and down the potatoes, everything is looking ok out there, next time I have to put the hiller back on and fling some dirt back up on top of the taters. Then back to cultivating, setting tines wider as the plant gets bigger.
That's the theory.
I think the oil pressure gauge stayed a little higher this time at the end with 40W in there now.
However my energy pressure gauge is currently on zero.
Time for a shower and rest. Then get prepared for volunteers coming in tomorrow morning to pick collards and help weed
the veggies.

Sprayed Home Defense Max around the foundation , vents, windows and doors. Carpenter bees have all but disappeared, as have the wasps.
66, sunny and breezy, supposed to be in the 80s tomorrow. Ran off a groundhog, or rather Ellen did. She yelled at one last July and I never saw it again. She is the groundhog screamer!
Getting ready to head out front and work on my pavers, after seven years the edges need some attention.
