Good morning!!!!

   / Good morning!!!! #91,111
The low was 27° this morning, with another dusting of light snow. Yesterday was in the low 40's and sunny. Today is going to be partly cloudy and back in the lower 40's with a 10-15 mph wind.

I decided to make a little table for our deck. It going to be a while before I get it done. I have to wait until I can get to the steel under 4 feet of snow. But I'll work on the top and get it ready. I should get it done before the end of spring. I'll work on that some today.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.
CWB.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!

A windy sleep disrupting 26ºF morning low and holding. It may break 32ºF as for high temp. I was pleasantly surprised to see only 1 on the ground. The NWS actually nailed the snowfall totals for this area? And tomorrow temperatures may reach the low 50ºF's.

Happy Birthday Mr. BEF Sr.

Ray- Good luck with finding alternative heating.

Bruce- My Wife got hooked into the HOA politics as executor for her Aunt. The intrigue was fascinating for a disinterested observer.

Drew- Good luck with the salt control.

Billy- Thanks. The birds knew a storm was brewing yesterday; a lot of activity and aggressive/dominance display behaviors at the feeders, A migrating flock of Juncoes showed up. We have been counting 3 all Winter and yesterday the count went to 15 counted. The birds have other things on their minds as well.

" For once I will also get to do little grocery shopping without close adult supervision - freestyle shopping trolley packing, here I come" - Eric. Have fun and good luck. I will only go grocery shopping with Wifey under duress.

Buppies- I am sorry to read about your pain. I hope you achieve some degree of comfort today. Take care.

RNG- Good luck with the insurance.

Randy- I love your Mom's sense of humor. I hope that she gets out of rehab and makes 96. UTI's really whack one's physical/mental/cognitive status and they take time to treat. I was the 溺anager On Duty one weekend at the longterm care facility I worked. Two of the CNA's came to me and reported that one of the female residents (one of my favorites) had assed. She definitely looked passed; mouth open ready to catch flies no apparent respirations nor movement.. I checked her carotid artery for pulse. She jerked awake, I jumped higher than I have ever jumped before. She started laughing stating "I ain't dead yet".

Kyle- Good luck with the chicken run project.

I hope that everyone is having a decent day and decent day tomorrow.

My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.

60 degrees this morning, going for a high of 69 with a 40-50% chance of rain. A couple of days ago, I moved our table and chairs from the patio/deck into the shop. Then yesterday, I went to Sherwin-Williams and got a gallon of SuperDeck clear sealer. This morning, I thoroughly mopped the whole deck. Monday the chances of rain should be gone and I'll apply the new coat of sealer on the deck. Earlier this week, I got just over a third of a yard of potting soil to fill in a few low spots in the yard, and of course spread it. I don't tolerate heat very well anymore so I'm trying to get all the outdoor chores done before it gets too hot.

Bought out all of TSC's black plastic Fi Shock fence posts on sale, they had 43 in stock when their inventory showed 90...
Also found a small nut tree that looked healthy.

Then went food shopping and added salt to list of things to check on labels, and put about half the food back on shelf. It's everywhere...basically one has to cook one's own food from scratch to avoid it, almost nothing premade is safe to eat on a low salt diet. I did stock up on salad, salmon, and got some ground beef and turkey to make a meat loaf. No more dumping that can of mixed greens in the meatloaf, which makes the meat loaf so yummy... stuff is about a third salt.
Need to try something spicy instead. But not spicy hot. Personally I like mild curry but lot of folks don't.

Off finally to head outside and stay there on a mix sixties sunny day.

60°F this morning and overcast. Forecast says 76°F and a 20% chance of rain.

I'll give the yard a dose of 15-5-10 fertilizer and maybe it will get rained in. If not .... I'll cycle the sprinkler system tomorrow a.m.

I finally was able to get the 55 HP tractor thru the yard and get all the piles of limbs, from tree trimming, picked up with the grapple and moved to burn pile. Didn't make any new ruts but, did leave tire depressions in a few areas that are still soft.

No after pictures so ..... please use your imagination to "see" above with no piles of limbs and nicely mowed.

Hoping everyone has an excellent weekend.

Prayers for all.

36°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 60° today.

Got the chickens and ducks fed this morning, Wife made a nice breakfast, and now I'm at work. Boss called me from Mexico to see if I was here yet. Told him I was standing in the kitchen getting ready to go out and feed the chickens. I could tell that was not the answer he was hoping to hear. Hoping to not have to be here long. Lots of stuff that needs to be done at home on a sunny 60° Saturday.

Have a great weekend, gents.

63°F and .45 inches rain.

Not confident I’ll receive my tractor part today. Tracking shows arrival but not departure in Honolulu at 3AM. Will recheck before going to PO

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Good morning all,

Got out of rhythm this morning, I went to get some more firewood. It was a failed attempt, lots of mud and a little uphill to where it's stacked. My feet were muddy from opening the gates so my wife was driving the truck. Enough said, she does not understand how to keep the truck moving in a low traction environment. We'll be heating with the furnace until it warms up. Unless it freezes again.

32 this morning and cloudy, no wind.

Prayers and best wishes for all.

Bird, come on up here next January. You will be thankful for the heat in Texas.

I've never been in your part of Canada, but I have driven across western Canada to Alaska three times, and flew up there in a little Cessna once, and I much prefer the cold weather. You can always bundle up to stay warm, but you can't take off enough clothes to stay cool in the summer.
