Good morning. The frost didn't wait around to see the sun at day break, it has already melted thanks to an early morning visit by some warmer air from the south. With no rain in the forecast, this is going to be a good day for a few outside jobs, now I just have to work out which of them deserves to get WUndergrounds's promise of that 3 minutes and 50 seconds of extra daylight today.
Kyle, Loch Ness can be bleak or beautiful, it very much depends on the weather. As a child I had heard many tales tales of the monster that inhabited it's deep, dark water, so the first time we went to Scotland I took one look at the Loch and then hid under a blanket on the back seat of the car for the many miles that the Inverness road follows it up through the Glen.
The early TV Dr Who monsters were almost as scary as Lock Ness, though I doubt I would have hidden behind the couch with your Dr Who friend Jay. He sounds to have been quite a character. I doubt he has left you, or ever will, he will still be right there in your thoughts, ready to test you next time you walk through the woods and when you walk through many fond memories while sitting by the wood burner.
