Wind seems to have resumed its civility although it was gusting to 35mph this morning.

Just finished 2nd coat paint on my 2x6 rafters. Feel good about that. Wife was tremendously helpful.

That’s it for the day. Off to Happy Hour later this afternoon with friends.

Ron;
it is almost impossible to find size 42 jeans with a 34" leg here. Ya, I know I am fat and tall. I am working on the fat, but I can't do anything about the tall.

Chain saw????

Similar problem, 6 ft (needing size 40 now) but 30" legs. With me it is all in the torso so I need my shirts in 'tall' or I get a sore back from cold.
So far Mark's work wear has been my 'go to'.

Nasty day today. Hung around 33° and freezing rain, snow, sleet. Blah. Lots of accidents on way to work. Traffic light due to schools closed.

Taking a class this week, Teststand and Labview, Labwindows.

Don, any chance Whipper may be experiencing an unknown pain or discomfort?

Oh, might be, sometimes she rubs her head hard with her paws, maybe she gets headaches.

Before getting the ash trees cut, make sure they are not green ash. Apparently certain strains of green ash are actually poisonous to the emarald ash borer. The tree will look like death warmed over for a summer or 2 after infestation, then will recover.

Seems one I was eyeing up to cut last spring is one of those trees. It had lost all of it痴 leaves in the summer of 2016, sat dormant in 2017, then last spring, leaves started popping out. By early summer, the tree had new growth. I have one other one that seems to have recovered.

Watch the bark, if it 澱londes? it is game on for the saw. If not, it may be a green ash and may survive.

It appears that Whipper responded+ to CBD; started to re-experience - symptoms when discontinued.

Every now and then someone comes into one's life and things change. A kindred spirit of mine was found dead in his kitchen the other day. It was his family's home, 6 occupants, two rooms, and a loft, no running water, no plumbing, no septic; just electricity all their lives. No meat w/o a jacked deer or maybe bluejay or squirrel some times. This is in modern MA too. I/Wifey was/were honored to become part of the family. He walked to get his water from a secret spring even after he got a well because of the potato fields upslope; finally got a septic system too. He "died" when his Dad died while he was in college studying forestry sciences. He knew and forgot more about the NE woods and animals than I will ever hope to know. He tested me every time I visited. He was a survivor, a character, looked like a garden gnome, was well gifted in herbal farming, and one of the most honest, hardworking souls that I have ever met. I'll miss him. I believe in + thoughts, wishes, and prayers. They work.... A few for Jimmy AKA DR Who would be appreciated. He deserved so much more.
