Good Afternoon Everyone!!!

Thanks for the + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.

Misery loves company. I decided to join the miserable´ It sucks; not much I can do but try to cooperate with care and treatment (and wifey). Ted- Thanks for the laugh.

I hope the orthopedist evaluation (CAT/MRI scan) next week reveal my ligaments held. I already had an ACL tear and fracture with that knee. Fortunately most of the necessary stuff to maintain some degree of personal care is already here (except crutch crampons:eek:). Unfortunately our nursing home style bathroom is on the second floor. I see some bum bumping on stairs in my future.

Phil- Great news about your wife procedure and my + thoughts, prayers and wishes for + outcome.

Bill- I hope that you are feeling better.

Drew- I hope that you get your tractor back soon.

Rick- Awesome shop. Thanks for sharing.

Don- Sorry to read about your thumb. I think all of us can related = I use self tapping screws for most projects. And congratulations on the "coronation."

Kyle- Congratulations!!!

I called a neighbor landscaper who plows to plow and sand the driveway. The last time I called him to plow our driveway it did not snow for the duration of the contracted time. He'll be plowing something Sunday/Monday. There is a 20' tether secured to a heavily loaded wood cart for Brogen's early morning business right outside our slider. He is actually well mannered for the wife during his PM walk. He may have to be kenneled briefly for snow events. He appears to love going to the kennel. He probably considers his solitary confinement with all the female staff as a luxury spa.

The local Pro/Mets are predicting 18" for here with the Saturday-Monday weather event. and:( And maybe a frosting of ice. This is killing me; watching some guy manage my snow.... I tested the knee..... no way I can work the tractor foot pedals.

Rick, great looking pavilion and brightly lit.

Randy, I thought a couple of months ago you said you had switched - that you learned that Plan G had lower premiums and saved you enough vs. Plan F to cover any potential extra exposure that you might experience under F.

Jay, real sorry about your accident. I hope it heals well.

Don, welcome back :).

Roy, hope your trip home was pleasant.

Didn't do too much after coming home this afternoon from my root canal. Brought in a couple of wheelbarrows of firewood, played frisbee, and watched an Audie Murphy cowboy movie.

Jay. Ouch! When you fall you really do a good job. Hope you heal fast. When you get tired of the ice move on down here. I can get you on the fast track back on a tractor. I’ll share.

I just read on a neighborhood email that Mr Moss fixed the tractor door. Actually he was holding the ladder while I was using the sledgehammer and 2x4. But that’s great I don’t mind making others look good. He was telling me where to hit.

Randy they did call Morton buildings and they wanted $3k to replace the rail.

So now it opens with just a little drag and everyone’s happy.

Also got my garden today, it was my fist pick- afternoon shade in summer and next to pocket park. The lady who had it before had to give it up for health reasons. It has one Brussels sprout plant and one fennel. This is the before in the spring will be the after pic. IMG_2613.JPG

Prayers back at ya Jay. Hope everything comes out ok. Looks like we might finally get some snow. 2or 3inches tomorrow and possibly 2 feet Sunday..
wife is continuing to improve. Such a small incision sure makes you black and blue! She is not happy with being immobile but we can’t take a chance of the artery reopening. The other incisions aren’t giving her much pain. We’ll find out first week in February if the repair worked.
Thoughts and prayers for all. Thanks for the well wishes.

57ー and partly cloudy this morning. Forecast says we'll see 73ー this afternoon.

It misted / drizzled rain most of the day yesterday so after getting 2 sets of gloves wet I gave up and worked in the shop for balance of the day.

Our previous, forecast for below freezing temperatures for this coming Sunday and Monday has, over last two days been revised to not even get to freezing either day. I'm good with that!

I did get around to some shop pics, of new lights, last evening.

Can't begin to tell you how great it is to have proper light in the shop. I still have to get everything back in place.

I hope everyone has an excellent Friday Eve!

Prayers to all.

Great looking shop... Very well done.

That痴 correct, I was aggravated and misspoke, I signed up for G, they switched me to F High Deductible, to save me money in their opinion. It would be ok if one never needed it. Supposed to be getting it straight and calling me back.
