I've never seen anything quite like that, Lynn. I've seen that kind of sprinkler system many times, but always in the summer.

My guess is, their trying to get as much growth as possible before winter actually gets here. Daytime temps get up about 70. They will NOT get another cut. But if they get a few inches of growth, then they can turn the cows in and not have to feed until it snows.

well how's this for New English...
somehow one of my Youtube jaunts wound up with British car and truck accidents video compilation
where car cams recorded everything.
Well I've now learned what a tosser is. Never knew this...
And the drivers who witness the poor driving or are hit generally bundle it all together as fornicating tosser.
Said with a marvelous proper British accent.
Or is it we who have the accent?...
Urban Dictionary: tosser

now what was the Amish?

It has been good reading this afternoon.. after returning from my trip to Plano, TX. I left home Tuesday morning at 29F, arrived at DFW about 2pm, very hot and humid, someone said 92F with high humidity. My shirt was pretty well soaked after walking to rental shuttle and getting a rental car..

Several long days with the time zone hange of 2 hrs resulted in being very tired this morning as I was up at 3:30am, left hotel about 4:15am for my 6:25am flight. It took about an hour to get to the terminal (gas up rental and return it, then wait for and take shuttle from rental car area to terminal, then through security, had to wait about 15 minutes to board plane. Next time I should leave hotel earlier or move the airport hotel the night before. If I move to airport hotel, I can turn rental car in and only have to get to terminal then...

RNG, good news Van is coming along.

Lots of fun catching up after being gone all week, prayers for those in need, stay safe, have fun.

Hooked trailer to truck, and was driving around barn, and it came off the ball. Right size ball, must not have been down on ball all the way when i latched it. Good thing i was only in yard, and not on the road.

he's seeing an unusual wear pattern on the front tire treads.
in 20 miles? ???? something must be awfully wrong if rubber is getting scrubbed off that fast...unless the little rubber nipples
on new tires are the tell tales./QUOTE]

By now there's about 200 miles on it. Tires are/were new, so the unusual wear was easy to spot...

The upper A-arms and all the suspension bushings were also replaced, leaving lots of opportunity for the adjustments to be way, way off. He made a guess as to where they should be, but without an alignment rack, it's just a guess.

I've never seen anything quite like that, Lynn. I've seen that kind of sprinkler system many times, but always in the summer.

I remember a motorcycle trip through Utah where the irritation systems were making icicles everywhere. Hot coffee tasted particularly good that morning!

Hi guys, busy day today, getting the T-Bird ready to ship, sorting out the bank transfer from Great Britain, doing a couple of small repairs like the pinion seal and starter solenoid. Then had cruise in for a Third Friday, raised money for We Care, tomorrow is another busy one, festival with wine tasting, then our last cruise in of the year, (where did the time go?), with a chili cook off and another We Care fund raiser.

Got my grass mowed, it’s the thickest it has ever been, and gets tall super fast, funny that in a month it’ll go dormant.
I Moved a bunch of stuff from garage to another building with the CC 1864 and steel wagon.
Some of you guys have really been busy! Drew and Rip come to mind.
Have a good evening, God bless.
