Gosh that looks good Wingsprd. Reminds me of what I was taught in my first job out of college, working for Saga Food Service, awful job, but taught me lots of
useful skills. While I only stayed 9 months there, I will always remember
Plate Coverage
Plate Appeal
make it look like they were getting a lot of food and make the food attractive using different colors and shapes.

To this day one of my best friends, who worked there also, for a year, still laugh that Saga never made
it a triangle...where was Taste? In institutional feeding, often on steam tables, taste was a challenge.
Computerized menu planning and food ordering in 1971, pretty advanced company.

I'd say Billy's wife got the taste down just right...
some day with replicators perhaps we could taste it online. ;)

One of the absolute coolest things for a country boy in the 1950's to see were the original Horn and Hardart vending machines in Philadelphia,
in the lobby, where you could put a dime and a quarter in and out came a ham and cheese sandwich, all refrigerated, in this imposing giant juke box
looking food machine. Anyone here ever go to Philadelphia and buy food from it?
Food magically appeared from the machine, for most of us, it was right out of Star Trek, for the day...

Then came microwaves. Amana Radar Range. The future was here. Even if it looked like the front
end of a Buick Roadmaster.
With current 3D printers, why not make them work with soy protein?
One use for our currently underpriced soy beans.
There, solved world hunger.

Three big boxes of food in trunk of audi waiting to go to food pantry in an hour.
Was wondering how to transport the water melons and keep them from rolling, and
lucked out, the new rear area organizer I bought online expands to large compartments that
held the big melons quite nicely. going around the corners slowly this morning, though will stuff some towels
in between them. Am curious what they weigh, with my sore arms I'm no judge of weight any more,
everything feels heavy...

Then at 10 am two ladies including President of local garden club, where I broke the pink ceiling recently,
are coming to analyze my newly cleaned up sun room and will go on a fully funded shopping trip for me and buy inside
plants. Give a woman a hundred bucks and say go shopping, you just can't lose....:D
I do not have a green thumb for inside plants primarily because I forget to water them, too many distractions outside.

1 minute and 19 seconds shorter than yesterday.

Good morning! Sitting on the back porch with Whipper and Gray2 watching the sun rise. Gray2 is trusting enough now no collar is needed only close supervision.

Had a bit of excitement yesterday. Whipper started barking after sunset because there was a lady walking her little dog (illegally) on the golf course after dark. The little dog got loose and came running toward Whipper, it was so small it went right through the fence and into our back yard. I had no idea what Whipper would do to a yapping little dog that was invading her space so I quickly grabbed Whipper to take her inside. One problem, those locks my wife had me install have push button codes to get in and holding Whipper I could not push the right buttons. I was knocking on the door to get my wife's attention inside with the yapping dog at my feet and the big barking dog in my arms. When my wife, who did not have a clue on what was going on came to the back door and open it then she immediately shut it thinking the little black and white dog was a skunk.

I finally got things settled and grabbed the little dog handed him over the fence to the owner, eliminating the threat.

No rain for a month and we are on watering restrictions. Sprinkler and irrigation is limited to 2 days a week depending on your address and no one is supposed to be watering on Mondays.

My Wife's second or third cousin who ran the reunions died last week near Roundtop TX. A tragic death. She was 81, at home with her husband around 1:00 pm in the afternoon. Their house caught fire and both got out. her husband went to the garage to get the flammable liquids out and she went back in the house to get her cat. She never made it back out.

Time to go for a ride two tractors just pulled up to my back fence.

The Beemer is looking good. Will you keep it for a while? or move it for the next one?

My intent is to keep it, and depending on how it turns out, use it as the primary summer time ride. The zebra bike has over 150,000 miles on it now, and no matter how well it runs now, it's still pretty long in the tooth and I'm starting to have concerns about its reliability.

Still waiting for the smog check news.
That makes two of us.:muttering::pullinghair: A not unexpected eventuality from the serial disappointer.

I would offer up that when you get it, that you take a nationwide tour, stopping and visiting your online friends. I could put you up for a few nights. (Unless you come and perform indentured servitude like poor Ron did for Don.) :) I'm sure most of us could line up a list of chores for you.

Thanks, Kyle. it's nice to know I'll always have a job (and a home away from home).

I've had plenty of exercise these last few days from walking around with a knapsack sprayer. Only trouble is the many hundreds of squirts at individual weeds now has my right forearm playing up, it doesn't even want to hold my hand above a keyboard. Ron, I could do with some lessons on what to do while arm heals. :)

Could you just use the other arm?

Congrats on the tractor pic.

Yes finally got one! They are redoing some of the really steep sand traps. The one one the other side of the hill had a 5’ drop off, good place go roll a golf cart. They are making it senior friendly.IMG_2210.JPG

It's 41° with a 10 mph wind it makes it kind of cool setting on the deck this morning. Today is going to be in the mid 80's with hazy skies from the fires out west.

Taking the truck into town this morning to have some work done on it. Probably won't get it back an tell tomorrow. Don't have anything else planned.

LS ... Nice pictures of the lighting.

Hope everyone has a great Monday.
CWB.
