Glad to see whipper settling in. Hopefully her adopted people are doing the same. I have to say that having the expanse of a golf course in your backyard sure looks like you have acreage.
bought a full sized spare rim for my commuter car (Altima), it's been sitting in the barn for a while. We had a windy storm pass through, rained about .2" but it cooled down to 75F. I got out and put the full sized used tire I had on my spare rim and put it in the trunk. Getting the tire on the rim and beading up was a piece of cake compared to the 24" tractor's front R1 tire. that thing is a beast to use tire irons on and off. The cool off respite and breeze was nice while it lasted.
Put up the trailer after using it for a hay ride for yesterday's fishing fun.
I might run the kids out there again tonight to go fish again....maybe just 1 of them and myself.....which one is the question??? eeenie meenie miney moe...
One of the guests yesterday was holding one of the hens and another hen jumped up and seemed to attack her. I pushed them apart. Glad I was there. Strange situation. Once she put down the one she was holding, things went back to normal...Do chickens take up for each other in that manner?
I sent home a box (with my mother) of about 15-20 lbs of tomatoes, onions and some yellow squash. She is going to distribute it to our friends.
