32 going to 52 with cold heavy rain coming in tonight and tomorrow, and then snow.

Still working on my big tree that I cut down...got a major portion of it cut and split yesterday afternoon, and will try to finish today before the rain gets here.

Pretty field, Don. I remember your pic of your harvest last year.

Good morning!

Yesterday and today are cold. Snow yesterday. Neither the roads department nor the head of our shooting club look at forecasts, I guess. I was feeling a bit sick Saturday night, so I decided not to go to the competition. I got an email at 7am that it was cancelled due to weather. I had called him on Friday wondering if we should really hold it, given the sub-zero temps and snow forecast. Good I didn't go, because I would have left at 6:30 to go to church in Michalovce before shooting, and that would have been a 25 mile drive for nothing. (Ironically, I have to drive in to the city to go shooting at the range there.)

When we drove for church at 10 in a nearby village none of the roads had been plowed or salted-- not even the main highway going to Ukraine. I skidded a lot going around one curve-- I'm not used to the roads not being plowed! Glad we didn't end up stuck in a ditch.

Sheep all stood outside for me yesterday to photograph them. Then they ran off. Why are sheep so much more nervous than goats?

Upper levels will be quite cold for late March, which means snow could fall a bit further south than in other
recent storms—from southern New England and the New York City area well into Virginia, with a band
of heavier snow possible for Philadelphia and Washington, D.C

Shoo shoo
don't you come down here and mess up my peach blossoms....

Sounds like you had a wonderful, "perfect" day... What more could you ask... A lady that can drive a tractor :D

I was impressed with her starting the diesel and backing out of the shed with loader and back blade, then she stops and asks, high range or low? My knees are still weak.

Good morning all, 33 this morning going to 49 with rain likely. Fairly high to high chance of precip through Wed. Wife cut my hair Saturday. I was beginning to look like a hippy. Went to see Mom yesterday. Took the boy and we all went. Boy took one look at Grandma and HAD TO GO HOME NOW. We said a few words to her and came back home. After we got home the boy is happy we went to see Grandma. For some reason that I don't know it helped him to see her and come home.

Don, spent many days picking dew berries, wild strawberries too. Thanks for the pic.

Drew, I would let the potatoes get 6 or 8 in high then hill them covering most of the plant. That way the folage can be feeding the plant.

Have a great day all. Prayers sent for wives, knees and other needs. Ed

She grew up on a farm and her dad collects IH tractors, so she has a head start.

So you have something in common already with the future father-in-law? ;-)

Poured second cup of coffee. 30° with mostly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 41° with partly cloudy skies. PT this morning. Take wife to a doctor appointment in afternoon. Yesterdays high of 56° made a good dent in snow on the ground. But still not enough to get golf cart and tractor out of barn. Maybe today or tomorrow. Dry weather for all week. Except Saturday. But even that has been reduced down from 8" to maybe 1" of snow. We need some rain it's been a dry month so far.

Randy, my wife can drive a tractor. Maybe that's why she has stuck with me all theses years.

Prayers for those in need. Extra for Eddie and Karen, Ed and family,

Good Morning All.
