I forgot to mention, if this mornings 28 doesn’t kill the grass, I may have to mow the earliest I ever have, I have 6 inch grass and wild onions.
Nothing greening up here yet. As warm as its been, forget its still February.

Then again, who could find your place without the special pass code. :D I guess a couple of us know it. :mischievous:

Ill take that on as my next case. That compass should be easy. Lol. I found Drews place on google maps already, based on his posted clues.

Well I had the info down right. I did not post it. Figured if you wanted everyone to know you would have posted it. I did reply to a couple of PM's with the info.

It has been years since I've been to Don's, I would probably miss the turn at Albuquerque.

Got a start on the wiring harness on the old bike, cleaning it up really well and finding only a few issues. All those wires going into the headlight shell are a bit intimidating, but taking each wire one-by-one will eventually get it done. So I'll give it another lick today and see what happens.

I also need to roll the touring bike outside and hose off all the salt it picked up last week. Not good to leave that stuff sitting any length of time with all those wires and aluminum turning into oxide.

Di-electric grease my friend, but I'm not telling you anything you don't already know.

TESTS !!!!
🤯🤪
Going to be off sick for a few days.

Wife went to see mom today and she was doing very bad. We were wondering how long she can hang on but this evening she is some better. Still have doubts that this will last very long. Lungs are just not doing well at all. Ed

Prayers for all of you and yours. For Rip and wife too. Farmer, more prayers for you and your family to get well!

Daughter is pecking me half to death to get some chickens. Need to figure out a cheap chicken coop.

When Mom first went to the nursing home I thought she’d be gone in a week or two, now she’s sailing right along.

Had a good day today, did a little electrical work, then back home to take care of the dogs. Nice weather today. Looking forward to spring. I just talked to my wife, we are having a date night Friday, it’s been awhile since we went out to eat or anything.

Have a good one!

Good evening all. 50F for the start, light fog and calm winds. Winds did pick up, intermittent light rain with brief heavy showers, and high temp of 61F. Today worked on fallen tree limbs, twp more pickup loads, all that is left to do is saw the firewood to length. Got a quick ride in before the rain. After I had dropped off the second load, and heading home the first big drops started hitting the windshield :cool2:. Did not get much else done but wifey is happy.

Scott and wngsprd, thank you for some very good tips. Yes the survey was recorded at the county courthouse and is part of the recorded /approved subdivision. They were aware of the survey, and the last time they were here at their house, I pointed out the fence line issue and the location of the property pin. They were not upset and agreed that the fence should be moved. It has been about 6 months, and I am concerned that they may have 'forgot' the conversation. wngsprd, you pretty much hit exactly how I was thinking of wording the letter. I honestly don't think there is going to be a problem, just want to have a little protection should something goes awry.

Yes, it was arcshields thread... An eye opener. There was another one too, thread about numerous lawsuits over an easement and assumption of some land. Didn't want to start a new thread , only get a few opinions.

Jay, you've been awfully quiet lately...... Just sayin....I need to keep up with the vocabulary.... Remember-- one $10 word a day....

Only seat time today was moving the tractor out of the shed to get some lumber, then back in.

Good morning! 11 below freezing when I got up. Mother in law had already fed the chickens, ducks, and given the goats we're keeping by the house water. So I took the youngest over to the old house to take the goats and sheep water, and finally let the two new sheep out of the barn. Hopefully they'll mingle and bond with the rest of the animals.

Driving to Presov today to test drive our friends Belarus 321. Though, having looked now at a video of a 320.4 with the cabin, it has a sticker inside advising the use of hearing protection, and when the guy starts the engine, its quite loud. Seems like one of the upsides of having a cabin should be not having to wear hearing protection. I'll get an idea from my friends cabin-less tractor how load that engine is.

To Ed-- I pray your mother pulls through. My grandmother has had some bad spells (where I've gotten the upset calls from my mom, certain she's going to die) and she's pulled through.

Good morning all.
Ed, sorry to hear your Mom is doing poorly, hope she rallies and you can have some good time with her.

34 degrees out going to mid sixties, rain coming in tonight and unlike the last drizzle this looks like at least a one incher. Which we need.
Later this week the night temps are right around freezing, will see how cold hardy the new veggies are.

Most importantly, would sure be nice to have a year where I miss the March super freeze. Keeps messing up my fruit orchard... At least half the trees are starting to bloom already.

Did some mowing yesterday near the nut orchard and the field I'm veggie planting in. It gets full sun and the lawn/field grass there really jumped up. Spacing too tight to use the new Kubota mower with a 72 deck, so I used the JD which with a 60 deck just squeaks between trees.
The JD garden tractor is used so much that not sure I can sell it which was the plan. Sound of mowers starting all around me, the grass season has started here. Saw landscaping crews out everywhere including the local community college whizzing around on their zturns, cutting the first crop of grass and lawn onions.

Good morning all, 43 now going to 56 and a 30% chance of rain this evening. 90% chance tonight and Thursday. Thanks for the prayers guys, She was just a little but better last night when we talked on the phone. I should mow in a week or two, depending on the weather it is getting long in spots.

Drew, A little snow should not hurt your plants, just a hard freeze.

LS, sometimes asking permission to do something a second time is like saying you are low on the pecking order and it causes people to start pecking. :2cents:

Have a great day. Prayers sent. Ed

My wild onion crop is huge, if only there was a market! 33 this mornings 27 yesterday at sunrise. 61 later. Taking grandson to school today, Lynn so loved all this grandma duty. Been 17 weeks today.
Storm looks like a wind and rain event here, wind may near 60mph.
Car club meeting last night, invite to Chinese carry out and TV from teacher tonight. Going down to NC next week to visit my Joyce, she has a way of bringing me a little peace. Wish I was closer, she said the same last week. We have literally been friends since first grade.
Got my electric nearly buttoned up, still have to get lights up and go live. Put my retainer chains on all the walk in doors including the garage, been using a wedge for years on it.
Ed and all you guys, prayers and well wishes.
