My entire rodeo crew is gone or invalid this year. Just last year we were able to round up the cows. Might be time to sell the heard and lease out the pasture.

Good morning. Yesterday the sun made an appearance for only of couple of hours before going to hide behind the clouds for the rest of the day and today should be very similar.
The weather nicely let me get on in relative comfort with more concrete cutting. All slow work because it was up against the building walls, some above and some below finished ground level, where steel gate posts and a water pipe had been embedded in concrete 60 or so years ago. They certainly didn't skimp on materials back then. I was white over with cement dust, yet thanks to Wngsprd's wonderful dust mask company, the air I was breathing in stayed nice and clean.
RS, beautiful sun set, your spent brass must have been shining like gold.

65 right now...mid 70's today with a possibility of thunderstorms.
Not much doing today...haircut this morning...after that, not sure. Maybe mow, although it's not really needed yet. However, I do need to fill my gas containers, thinking about it.
My wife and step-daughter have returned from the animal sanctuary...got some good pics. I'll post them as soon as I transfer them from the phone to the computer.

One thing I should do today is swap out the Deere I-Match (currently on the tractor) with the Agri-Supply quick hitch (with an adjustable top hook) I bought last week. As some of you know, I have a Caroni TM1900 flail mower en route (supposed to be delivered on or about 12 July). I'm hoping the QH will fit the Caroni.
I had initially ordered a Woodmaxx flail mower...then the ship date (was mid-July) got pushed off to late August. I can't wait that long.
Anyway...swapping out the Quick Hitches...chore of the day

75 degrees going to 91 today.
Stopped good meds after 24 hours, groan...seriously sore this morning, but better that since it will keep me from doing much of anything, which if it didn't hurt,means I'd be out doing what I shouldn't.
My friends are headed back to PA this morning and very grateful they came to watch over me.
Looks to be a quiet day here out of necessity; as much as I want to go push a trim mower, going to have to wait.
This train has a hard time sitting at the station...

Drinking first cup of coffee. 61° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 77° with mix of sun and clouds. Little over 1" yesterday. Yesterdays project went well. Instructions were short and accurate. Nice to be able to check garage doors without going outside. Supply House had new outdoor sensor at my place before noon. Installed it and sent bad one back. Great place to deal with.
Got my Ruger Mark IV back yesterday. Couple of changes with safety lever and some new parts in firing/trigger area. Otherwise same gun. May go out and shoot it some today.
Not much planned for today. Had hoped to start coating barn roofs. But it will take a couple days for roof to dry out. May cut lawn.
Drew couple days rest will help the healing a lot.

Got my Ruger Mark IV back yesterday. Couple of changes with safety lever and some new parts in firing/trigger area. Otherwise same gun. May go out and shoot it some today.
Not much planned for today. Had hoped to start coating barn roofs. But it will take a couple days for roof to dry out. May cut lawn.
Drew couple days rest will help the healing a lot.

69 going to 92. Got a sprinkle yesterday while working the garden.
Still catching and killing 70 to 100 deerflies on each daily hike in the woods, on the same path each time. I thought I could have eradicated them by now. Where are they all coming from?
Son and wife coming over tonight to celebrate his birthday earlier this week. Hope they bring their 2 dogs...usually do.
Eric, it might be a good idea for you to pick up another one or two of those masks for backups, and to swap out quickly without any downtime.

Good morning 66 degrees and very windy was suppose to get rain but no show. I got to get pulleys off of jd deck and see what all I need have 2 that is bad. Drew take it easy the train cannot leave the station till it's ready. Buppies is enjoying the beach [ rest and relax ] that's what you need hope you have enjoyed it, my wife loves the beach me not so much if i'm fishing it's good. Everyone have a wonderful day.

Around 70, going to upper 80's and some humidity today. Mowed yesterday, it was nice not getting covered in dust. I leveled the deck, no more Mohawk streaks!

Good morning! 73˚ heading to 100˚. The next 7 days in the forecast looks like we will be in the 100s every day. Summer is setting in. Mowed yesterday and got very dusty. Is there an effective snake trap? Maybe I need to make one.
