65 this morning and headed to 81 today. The remnants of TS Cindy dropped 3.8 inches of rain on us. Several flood warnings are out on area rivers.

Birds are gone. Will spend this weekend decrusting so we can head towards Branson, MO on Monday. It's been 15 years since I've been out there and my wife has never been. So should be an enjoyable trip. We celebrated our 12th anniversary last weekend also. Just out to eat with no kids. Nothing big as I still had birds, so can't get to far away.

Buckeye what model baler is that? Looks nice.

Good morning folk's got a half inch rain last night 61 degrees now. I looks like our temps are gonna drop down into the 70's this coming week I can handle that. Well wife's surgery's went very well she can now use both her hands with no pain not %100 but that takes about 6 months. The best thing i'm not washing dishes anymore. everyone have a wonderful day.

Sam glad Jackie surgery was a success. We did not even get a tenth of an inch but cooler temperatures are on the way maybe some 30s in the mountains

74 and blue skies. Had a real gully washer come through at 5am. Should hit 90.

Mowed 3 hours yesterday, and things look nice. My JD mower seems to be doing fairly well ever since I brought home from the dealer a brochure of the new models and flashed it at it.

Set a new record for deerfly kills yesterday on my hike...score 135 to 3 (bites). I've started carrying a dollar store butterfly net and can really nab them...sure I look funny doing it. I've killed over a thousand this year...never seen them like this. I keep thinking each hike will be the last time they will be thick around my head.

Middle son came in to visit last night but had interstate delays, too, so we were up until 1am talking...way past my bedtime.

A rather muggy 68 right now....quite overcast and probably a few showers today. The high is supposed to be about 80.

Plans: Guy from the gun shop is coming by this morning to pick up some handguns I'm selling. After that, I've got some tinkering to do with my RFM before the buyers pick it up tomorrow. After that...take it as it comes, I guess.

74, sunny with slightly humid air and a nice breeze.

I slept in this AM. If I make it past 6AM, something is amiss in the world. LOL. No rains showed up from Cindy. I was not really watching the weather these past few days, but I thought when I saw it, someone said "lots of rain". Well, that was a bust for us. Today I need to find the pigeon roost in the barn, I hear them, just cannot seem to see where they are nesting at. More grass cutting is in order. And later on today, I am going to go look at some real estate. I got a bad taste in my mouth and an itch to grab another farm. What the **** is wrong with me?

Thank's I think she was in a lot more pain than she let on she was cause she back to her self now, I didn't say that was a good thing but she back.
