My yard dog will take care of coon incursions.
I think I'd need a bigger gun than my .22LR...
I'll have to look on the dog food aisle and see if they have gator treats. Raccoon flavored?

Hahaha ... yeah, I'm thinking that's in the neighborhood of a .30 caliber problem there.
That one from my pond was 10 ft 4" and weighed around 240 lbs. It was taken with a .22LR and later with a sledge hammer for insurance. The insurance is needed because they are known for "going to sleep" and waking up in the boat after harvested. A buddy of mine got a couple weld patches on his aluminum boat for evidence.
I got the videos of my gator being taken with a 22 and also with the insurance sledge hammering. My lady won't let me put those "gross videos" on line.this isn't some big trout flopping around either...what if it woke up and got your leg and pulled you under. Like that video everyone is seeing about the sea lion pulling the little girl
into the water from behind. I was thinking a .22LR through the eye. Assuming there is any brain behind it. Not quite up on my croc cranial configuration.
like they often say in the movies, I think I want a bigger gun... I'm a pacifist but when dealing with animals that want to eat me, I'll take a personal howitzer...death ray, I want it all. (actually I want a super stun gun but you are tired of hearing that from me)
Tx Don's niece could take that gator!
Bears make me want a .44 mag in both hands.
Hail damage to home includes windows, siding and screens.
Yukon XL was parked outside. It got it on the roof and hood
