30 now and going to a high of 34 Wind NNW 18 gusting to 28 mph. It has been snowing all night and it is going to snow all day by the look of the sky. We got about an inch so far. It wont stay, but it will slow down the spring melt.

Very windy and cold yesterday winter jacket heat on the whole nine yards. Cool and wet for upcoming week and there is talk of another big storm for upcoming weekend

Still think JJA will be hot just have to wait and see

Used mini/ex last night to remove one pampas last night at Road next one on other side today. Plan on planting knock out roses in their place

An atmospheric clog, better known as an "omega block" pattern, is forecast to set up over the United States this weekend into next week and will bring a big change in weather conditions to the eastern states.

Much cooler and more unsettled conditions are expected in the eastern third of the nation as the omega block takes shape – a sharp contrast to one of the warmest Aprils on record in many of this region's cities.

Temperatures during the next 10 days in the East will be much cooler than what was experienced in April, and some wet snow is even possible in parts of the Appalachians, eastern Great Lakes, upstate New York and higher elevations of Vermont and New Hampshire.

David, I'd forgotten what I call the Caribbean Mode, all the gutters go into cisterns, mother nature providing plenty of water, normally,
in your area. How do you purify the water to drink? Or do you buy that and everything else is run off the bounty from above.

I remember buying water for my boat in the Bahamas for 50 cents a gallon. Not only was it expensive but they got sand in my water tanks
that never did come completely out. I should have used one of those screened funnels but didn't know then.

Well, no reason I can't go on the beach in the rain with my truck, so I might get some neat pictures. Going to be very careful not to get stuck.

I agree with Buppies...Blackberry Spring. We have next 2 nights predicted in upper 30s, and I remember that thunderstorm in February, we had some hail.

Yeah buddy she doing good we have had several laughs with this, first time she been down since we been married.

Had a scare tonight.

My wife and Whipper were walking and a big pig chased them all the way to the back door.

When I got home we went to the store and when we got back Whipper was gone.

I spent the last hour driving down the county roads looking for her and finally just stopped at the front gate for a while and called her.

I gave up and started driving to the house to put on my snake boots look for her in the fields hoping she was just injured and not dead, and all the sudden out of the dark she runs in front of the pick-up like she has found me and is showing ME the way home - crazy dog - so glad she is found. I feel better at night knowing she is guarding the place.[/QUOTE ] I didn't know if I wanted to finish reading this or not but turned out great and i'm glad I love my pet's and I know you do as well.
