66ーF and partly cloudy this morning, going up to 77ー with rain later. Radar shows it moving in already.

Wife had a nice visit yesterday morning from the neighbor across the road. She hadn't been in the house since before G'ma died last year, and was amazed at the changes we've made so far. These neighbors are a little odd (she's from Brooklyn, he's a local) in some of the things they do, but they are very nice people.

Good luck with your audit, Roy. Since leaving the aerospace industry, I truly don't miss those AS9100/NADCAP/et al rectal exams. ISO9001 is a breeze by comparison.

I'm glad I don't have to deal with those either. Our ISO9001 audits have always been easy for us. The OSHA and EPA/Environmental audits are completely different beasts all together. Some of the auditors walk with the swagger of a service boar.

Have been trying to catch up here I see Easter and colonoscopies have been major topics here.
Hope everyone had a great Easter with family and friends, great pic. of toppops family at White House, your grand son Tanner sounds like a joy.
As I said earlier my mom passed just a month ago it started as colon cancer so let's take that colonoscopy seriously.
Barn Swallows one of my favorite birds keeping bugs away, I had one family that returned to make a nest on my front porch for years, the first year I was going to knock the nest down buy my wife, who I call Mother Nature, wouldn't let me she never complained of the mess they made as long as I washed it up, after the baby's were hatched couldn't let the dogs out of the front door with out them being dive bombed.
Pontoon Boat was going to be put in today but morning rain changed that plan, ill wait until next week. Have the trailer for jet boat out getting sand blasted and painted I pulled the fenders off and replaced all the broken lights and rat nest wiring.
Grass almost ready for first cut guess I'll have to put mower deck on JD, or have some fun and use my uncles IH cub.

We got a nice pop up shower around lunchtime bright sun for a couple of hours before and all afternoon. Put together an Acorn, which is really a knockoff big green egg, in black. My daughter bought it for her husband's birthday. I have a great son in law, and daughter in law, sure takes a lot of worry out of life!

Drew, glad your done. Welcome back to normal life. I had one done at 50 and now almost 57. I have a friend who's fighting cancer that started in his colon right now.

ISO audits, TUV audits....yuck. Hope Roy's audit goes well.

Mossflower, breath in and enjoy your blessings and I know you know how to keep the main thing the main thing.

Dabs, can't wait to see a jet boat picture although I would buy a pontoon boat over a jet at this point in my life.

Just picked a few more dewberries with the kids. Good fun. I have bad poison ivy on the back of my knee from last week. Not getting better too much yet. Tried a calamine type lotion with benedryl in it, and some clear stuff, then bought the $35 Zanfel. Just started it yesterday morning. No major noticeable improvement yet....:( We all just took showers to scrub ourselves, hopefully to prevent the poison ivy oil from doing it's thing.

Don, what is the "foam" you see on different stems while picking dewberries? My buddy was picking yesterday evening and had just gotten him and his 3 year old grandson in the Rhino and a 4' water moccasin reared up it's head a foot above the water in the ditch just maybe 8 feet away and hissed at them. He raced home, got his shotgun and was able to find it again and gave it a dose of #6 lead poison.

Good evening all. 68F this morning, overcast, and near calm winds. Wind picked up and got a little gusty, temp got to 84F, and sky cleared up. Rain in the forecast for tomorrow evening followed by much cooler weather. Will probably need arm and leg warmers for Saturday's ride. Ride this morning, followed by mowing (finished) followed by nap. Still have wood pile and string trimming to do.

Spittlebug secretion.
It's not actually spit - it comes from the other end.
So you might want to wash that dewberry really well.:D

As kids we would call that foam cuckoo spit. We would spend ages poking out the bugs with a stalk of grass and watch them look all surprised at being out in the air.
