I hate the new cans too, I still one 6 gallon and 1 and 2 gallon old style. The others are the so called safety cans. Most of them have unique sized caps so you can't switch.

Good evening all. 61F this morning and fog, calm winds. temp made it to 82 in spite of sun only out for half the day, light breezes all day. Too wet to mow, worked on intermittent horn on van and non-working power outlet in van. After fixing the horn (dirty horn button contacts) wife got the van reinspected and it passed. She also bought new fuses for it and that fixed the power outlet. Now to get wood pile under control .

39 right now...low to mid 50's for the high and probably some rain.

One of our sister companies in CT is in the midst of the same audit we'll be going through (Thursday and Friday)...tough day for them yesterday. Don't know if they received any findings but I know they were struggling.

Looks like enough cloud sneaked in last night to avoid the hard frost we had been told to expect. Should be a real nice day, a pity I have some engineering work that will keep me inside. Never mind, at least it now stays good daylight until almost 9 pm, so plenty of time to play out later. What time are you all seeing the day finally switch over from color to black and white ?

Thomas, have you started counting down the days left before you get excused from your daily grind ?

38F now mid 50's for high w/chance of shower.
Got the back rain gutters put up on back side of the house last evening what a pain in the back pocket.
Dang woodpecker early this morning hammering away on transformer or mailbox close by.

50 out this AM. Suppose to have a mild rain today. May work on the Milk House project. Need to start busting some concrete out of that place for plumbing and doors. That should be fun. I like the sledge hammer.
