18F & sunny. Headed to 30F today. Yesterday was mostly sunny too. Good to see a break in the gloom.

Yesterday's shopping was mostly a success. Some LED light bulbs would be a good gift but the only brand I saw locally was GE at high prices.

32 this morning and headed to 40 today. Yesterday was a total waste. Break downs and parts trips. Finished cutting bearing off about 30 min after dark. Said forget it till this morning. Did get a nap in before bedtime though, didn't effect night sleep either. Feel better this morning than I have all week. Back to today. Maybe it'll be better.

Drew holidays can be hard when someone leaves us. Even if it wasn't close to the holidays.

Buppies sounds like you will be having fun. Enjoy it.

Good morning! 50˚ cloudy. Last day of Fall!
90% of all the leaves have fallen and I see a Cardinal looking at the place where I had a bird feeder last year. I will have to set it up again.

Gray 2, our hunting cat, really got mad the other morning when he did not get his tuna he was begging for (we were out). He slapped my wife's leg and went and sat by the front door looking disgusted and wanting out. Then he ran away from home. I found him later in the day about 600 yards from the house in a gopher active area going around the fresh dug areas searching for an unsuspecting gopher. I had to bring him home because he looked like coyote bait out there. The addict had his tuna fix today and is a happy kitty, he even snuggled in my wife's lap. All is well.

Good Morning. 0955, rain, 51F with 99% humidity. Forecast high of 62F with 60% chance of more rain today, and a low of 50F tonight. Another rainy, cold day here. Glad I have an inside job. Always feel for the folks who have to brave the hot and the cold to earn a living.

I got off work at midnight last night, not to bad for a weekend party. This morning I gladly sacrificed my usual cardio for an extra hour of sleep. I did go ahead and walk 2 miles when I got to work. If the breaks between customers work out right, I'll try for one more.

Margie has a rough time during the holidays. She has lost her father, mother and brother in the last few years. When all the Larro's get together for the holidays it just shines a brighter light on her losses.

Buppies, enjoy the game. Is Cam going to be able to play? He doesn't take pain killers to play, so he has it harder than most. The way those trucks looked after the wreck, it is amazing either of them walked away.

69°F and only .01 inches rain last 24 hours.

Get to test the washing machine I installed yesterday. Wanted to let the new plumbing joints set overnight.

New experience yesterday. Went to a friends house and harvested macadamia nuts. Not particularly hard, just pick up the fallen from the ground. Got three 5 gallon buckets full. Just for personal use. Now they have to be dried, husked, then can be either eaten as is or roasted. I like both ways.

41 cold drizzly degrees, showers headed out, nicer warmer Sunday on store.
But the weather forecast for next week is really wet, three days of rain, totaling over an inch and a half.
That might be quite a bit of snow further North; we shall see.

Pretty sore and achy, have been on the floor for a good bit of today staining all those little wood door molding blocks, but it's done. I blended a little stain into the wood putty for filling the nail holes, and while that dried, went to work puttying holes in the new closet. Then two coats of stain rubbed in and it can get all nice and dry overnight so tomorrow I can put a coat of satin poly on it to finish.

I think it's time for a glass of wine and maybe a dunk in the hot tub. Maybe I'll find a mermaid in there...

19F going down another 5F or so overnight. We had clear sky all day long. The solar system was derating (inverter hitting it's maximum 16.1 Amps) once in a while around mid day.

Rain in the forecast next week here too, Dec 23-25. Christmas Day high of 47F & rain. Who knows if that will happen though at this point.

Buppies I put in a 15 seer trane 2 years ago a I am not at all pleased with it. I have had to call the people who installed it every time the season changes. this fall the finnaly decided it had the wrong coil installed and they changed it out. every year I have problems when I change from heat to ac or ac to heat. only use it in spring and fall for heat. our main use is ac. the 15 seer is a huge unit almost twice the size of the 13. all my problems may just be the installer but just thought I would share my experience.

Good evening all. 35F this morning, high around 44F overcast. Stepson and granddaughter and her boyfriend to celebrate Christmas with them. They are gone now. Trip prep is ongoing, plan on 8AM Monday departure. 5 minutes after I told wife I was going to take bicycle, her daughter called and said bring the bike .
