40F and cloudy @ 05:30 ...
Got done in by the cookies and the couch ... lol ... woke up about an hour ago.
Just had a look at the weather forecast, which looks very encouraging: high today is only 51F (AM clouds/PM sun), but Monday's high is 60F (partly cloudy), and Tuesday's is 65F (mostly sunny) ... but the only chance of rain is 10% on Tuesday ...
So it looks like 3 decent days to finish up the outside work before it turns nasty and we get the big cool down.
Will head up to the shop in a few and get started.

Just put coffee pot on. 27° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 45° with clouds most of the day. Yesterday we got some heavy snow that made leaves fall all day. Later today I am going to pickup the leaves. Then some NASCAR.

good morning all. Another day like yesterday, cool in the morning, nice in the afternoon, then temps dropping quickly. I had hoped to have a nice fire in the fireplace last night but with my timing...the wallpaper guy who only works on weekends showed up and installed grass cloth below the chair molding in the hallway and den. Well the fireplace is in the den of course so no fire last night. So today we clean up the room, put it back into place, and have a nice fire tonight. Having difficulty finding a restaurant that is open on a Sunday night here; most close sun and mon. I might just cook dinner again, easy to do and Katie helps with the salad. It's funny, I'm having breakfast sausage and eggs this morning, I always cook something on Sunday morning, and she is all excited not about that but getting into my organic cereal and strawberries. A very all organic girl and between her yogurt and granola and strawberries, I had her covered.
I wonder if she will snitch just one sausage. I know I could not resist...
at her request, we are going to head back through the woods and find the pond today. Very curious if there is any water in it after three weeks of no rain. This time I'm going to put little red flags down to mark our path so I don't get turned around like last time. 12 acres of woods back there and I sure don't know my way around yet.

Good morning, 41F here heading to a high of 45F. Going for blood work this morning then off to Costco. After that heading to my mother's house to help my sister sort through the stuff there so she can get the house cleared out and sell the home.
