Wasn't too long before I heard 'em callin' me ... so I came back down and had a couple.

Got the sawhorse legs all welded up:

Tacked this up while I had the welder on - it's the bottom portion of a 3PH boom pole I'm going to make ... 3 1/2" x 1/4" wall square tube and some 3/8" angle that was scavenged for the end plates. Need to check the fit on the QH and take the measurement for the upright/top hook once the sun comes up:

Uncle Buck says to cut off the square corners and round them off. After falling into loader bucket edge last year while carrying a large rock, I think it sounds like a good idea.

Sounds like you're heading towards the tail end of this cold thing ... with me, having it head down into my chest is the last thing it does before it clears up (usually gradually)

Don't underestimate that vinegar Wyan it'll eat up metal if you leave it in the bath too long.

A couple of weeks ago I walked over to put something in my bucket to clean it up and lo-and behold I'd forgotten about a set of old hinges I'd laid in there. What's left of them will go for weight.

That may be where that piece for the Cub I let soak for a decade ends up ... lol ...

62 degrees and heading to mid 70”s today. Think it is going to be a dry sunny day so we can do some work outside.
Time will tell.

First cup of coffee has been poured. 50° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 74° with mostly sunny skies. Should be able to get some small projects completed today. This is my kind of weather.
Sad day yesterday. Our good friend and fellow TBNer passed away yesterday. Jinman posted in this thread many mornings. RIP Jim.
