Threatened rain all day but never happened. Alternating sun and heavy, foggy clouds. High of 80F and sticky.

Worked on the field all day. Skipped lunch thinking I was going to get rained out. At least the last two hours were all seat time spreading 3" minus for a truck turn-around and getting the new tractor/walking lane across a drainage area. Off to town this evening to fill the diesel jugs.

Apparently the laptop is going to cooperate long enough for me to get some TBN reading in, as well as a post or two.

Have to pick up a fresh cylinder of 75/25 @ Matheson today, as well as hit Philcap Electronics and see what they have in the way of resistors to repair the plaz ...

Got most of the wiring on the west side of the shop sorted out yesterday ... almost ready to put the cover on the main panel.

Probably swing by Harbor Freight and pick up the short set of SDS Max bits if they still have them on sale ... will cut off the ends on one or more of them and then weld up a couple of drivers (one for ground rods, and for t-posts) ...

Should hopefully be about a $10 fix ... but it will require desoldering the old resistors off the PCB and soldering new ones on ... something I've never done before ...

It will pay to get a low wattage iron. Very fine braided copper wire dipped in flux will soak up melted solder making it easy to remove the resistor wires and leave a clean hole in the PCB. Hold the fluxed copper braided wire down on the solder joint and apply the iron on top of the braid. Move the braided wire to a clean section as needed. Be gentle and don't overheat.

If you don't have fine braided copper:

I've scoped out some YouTube videos on doing this and they mentioned a solder pump, which I don't have ...

I've got some short scraps of Cobra X-Flex 00 battery cable though that should fit the bill nicely I would think ... I believe it's around 1250 strands (turns out it's 1330 strands) ... it's almost like hair ...

I managed to get the stand for the tubing bender/roller built. Had to clean up the plate as it had gotten a little crusty ...

I tried to align the top and bottom plates largely by eye, but I tried to verify it by holding a straight against the two plates and then checking it for vertical/plumb on two ends of the edge with a level before I tacked it up ... came out pretty close I think:
