Wild how things can go from good to bad in a matter of seconds. Wife and I just heard that the offer we put on a house was accepted and were celebrating when our dog walked up to my wife, rolled her eyes back, collapsed on the floor having a seizure. Took the dog to the vet and had to have her put down. She was almost 15yrs old and was always a good dog, sure going to miss her companionship and snoring.

So so sorry to hear of your loss. I'm sure she had almost 15 wonderful years.

58 degrees going up to a summertime high eighties today, with rain coming in this afternoon.
this morning's project is to install a small water fountain off my back deck, and then this afternoon I need to work on cleaning up the rest of the garage so I can actually get some work done in there vs walking around piles of stuff off the rv.
I am my own enemy here, no one made that mess but me. Well maybe I can blame it on the squirrels.

Yesterday evening we took one VFD tanker to the fairgrounds and used the long straight asphalt road to take 1900' of hose off the truck, pressure tested, and put 1900' of hose back on the truck. I have no idea why our tankers don't have hose spools, but I'm sure there is a reason. The hose is carried folded on top of the tanker. Getting the water drained out of the hoses and feeding the hose up to guys folding the hoses into place is a good workout. Many hands does make it easier.

Second day unemployed... Sigh... I hate this and I'm sure I sound like a broken record...

Beautiful day yesterday and so far this morning much the same. I got 75% of the mowing done. The "yard" is done, but the area up by the gate, down by the pond, over by the future "garden", and the trails are not mowed yet.

I need to do a fuel run, all my various jerry cans are empty (two 5 gal diesel, one 5 gal gas, one 2 gal gas for Premium for the 2 strokes). Not urgent, the tractor, riding and push mowers, and the 1 gallon mixed fuel can are all full.

I've got some paperwork to fill out to get my severance check, and I have a ton of writing I need to do for my Divorce paperwork... When applying for jobs and all this paperwork gets mind numbing, I'll try to mow a bit before the predicted afternoon T-Storm arrives.

Morning all. 70F heading to a sunny 79F. It was weird this morning not hearing the dog's paws clicking on the kitchen floor. I almost went to the door to let the dog out for it's morning pee, strange how my routine changed so quickly.
