Good Afternoon. 1650, thunderstorm, 76F with 92% humidity. Forecast low of 70F tonight, and a high of 85F tomorrow with 70% chance of thunderstorms.

Today is my first day back at work since Saturday. All this time off is about to work me to death. It's good to be back in my office so I can rest. But I got a lot done. Today my cousin Chris and I got the big oak tree cut off the travel trailer. He brought his M8540 with grapple up with him. We got it cut up, off the trailer and piled in two hours. Me with my chains and come-a-longs would have been there two days. I was thinking about moving the trailer to the house, but I have about decided it is best to build a shelter in place. Our old camp shed is in pretty bad shape, so I can build a roof big enough to cover the trailer and have space for cooking in front.

And I talk to cats everyday in the garden. We are keeping a cat that belongs to one of Margie's ex workers. I'm sure the cat had a name, but I call her H[e]ll Btch. Most of what I say is, "H[e]ll Btch, move." Or, "stop that." Yesterday when I was laying out soaker hoses, she was laying right in my way. I just laid the hose on top of her, and the water was already turned on. She lay there a minute or two, getting wet, just because she is such a cuss.

good morning everyone, 55 degrees in eastern Pa and going up to 75. At least the next four days are supposed to be just plain awesome, seventies during the day, fifties at night. Except for the pollen, which is off the charts, perfect weather.

And boy does the cabin filter in the Kubota work well. I can mow for hours on end out there and not start sneezing. Now Larro, you are making me drool, not food this time, but your cousin's M8540 with a grapple. I have this marvelous grapple from Long that is a size too big for my L. Now the intelligent, sensible logical thing to do is sell the grapple and get the next size down. Well, I'd rather get the next size up tractor to fit it...:confused3::tractor::tractor:

All the properties I am looking at in NC have plenty of woods involved, so I intend to make good use of that grapple in the future.

And I'd prefer higher dry ground thank you. And flat too. I've done hilly all my life. I'd like a little flat.
I've gone wide-eyed a few times using my tractor/FEL on slopes at the farm where it is at now.
A little more flat would be just fine.

Am having to spend two grand on web viewable security cameras on the front of my house due to harrassment by teenage kids due to a problem with my one neighbor.
Cannot discuss online. Boy I want out of suburbia, can you tell? Soon. I'm only going to buy my retirement farm once so I sure want to get it right.
but with my problems next door, it's going to be sooner vs later. My tractors and I need to go South.

I'd like to take my Kubota a bit farther south, the Sarasota area or even further. Time will tell if I can. Gorgeous day here, a little fog, but that will burn off quickly. Nice and warm during the day, cool at night, the best weather Michigan has, IMHO. Need to mow the yard today, then order the roof tin.
