Good evening all. 28F this morning temps have been easing down all day 17F last check. 6F, and up to an inch of snow tonight, dusting so far. Cold through Tuesday then warming last half of the week.
Good Evening. 2035, clear, 51F with 87% humidity. Forecast low of 43F tonight, and a high of 71F tomorrow. Another really nice day here at the Larro Ranchero. I spent all morning online, and still tilled the garden, washed both cars, pruned the grape vines and went for a walk with Margie. There is no telling what I could have got done if I hadn't wasted away half the day
I'm hoping the ice and cold stays well to our north. Our forecast low for Thursday is 37F, but I trust Buppies more than Wunderground.

My mind completely erased the truck battery episode. I measured the new one in the store, and it looked to be the same size as the old one. But I found out it was about an eighth of an inch wider. And the clamp that holds it down fit the old one exactly. And I mean exactly. So my choices were to break one of the brackets off the clamp, or try to bend it a little. I was able to bend it enough using a crescent wrench that it would at least start to go over the edge. Then all I could do was tighten it as much as it would allow.
So then I figure it was just putting on the new positive terminal {the old one broke when I took it off} clamping it down, and I would be done. But then I found out the holes on the two cable clamps I had to put on the new terminal were just a hair too small to fit over the bolt. The only rat-tail file I could find was the one I use to sharpen the chain on my saw, so I used it to enlarge the hole. After a few minutes, and not much progress I thought of my cordless drill. After I put the file in the drill, the job went much faster. So a five minute job took about thirty five. Situation normal........
