MINUS 6 degrees right now. The prediction is for a high of 8 degrees and mostly cloudy.

First day at the new job was OK. Got there at 0600 and NOBODY there! The owner had said start time is anywhere between 0600-0800 (flex time). Anyway, a long day (about 10.5-11.0 hours (my choice)) since I wanted to finish something before I left. I'll start at .0630-.700 this morning (to make sure someone is there). We did get about 2" of snow in Stowe (about 50 miles north of home) during the day, yesterday.

Still calling for up to 5 in of snow here today. Right now temp of 33 but falling into low 20s by afternoon. Snow is very close now about twenty miles north of me as crow flies. After today highs won't make it out of 20s thru Friday. Good luck today Drew

and Ron is going to start talking about his second cup of coffee and I get none this morning. Boy I love grinding my own beans, half decaf, and
having that first cup of coffee in the morning. And the second. And when I hit the third, I think of my urologist giving me grief, stop drinking that coffee!
But what else can I have with my MIL's apple pie? Coffee it is.

Coffee is brewing. 57° with mostly clear skies and a brisk wind this morning. Heading to 69° with sunny skies and a northerly breeze. Sitting on the patio may be over for a few days. Need to go with wife to get some shopping done. Before the big temperature drop later this week.
Drew, good luck with surgery today. I will think of you while drinking my second cup of coffee.

Well I don't get here often but it's -22C (-7or so F) this morning and apparently it will continue to be cold for the next few days. Lots of complaints from the house, creaks and groans. Temperature dropped from +1 yesterday morning to -22 around midnight. Hope the car starts, taking the other half to work this morning and then on to Habitat for Humanity to help with a kitchen removal. Have a good day all.

On the positive side of things this morning only 5 degrees F
Thomas the stove is working like a lion this morning no problems there and zero oil being used!
Good going Roy, I can just see you putting in the time and always being on time.
Hauling more wood onto the porch this morning getting ready for after next Monday.
