Got up at 4:30 this morning made my first cup of coffee and flicked on the light and sure enough it was snowing, won’t amount to anything, but it is snowing for sure.
Temps right now are 36 degrees with clouds this morning and sun in the PM.

The front blew thru and winds are gusting. Suppossed to get down to 26 tonight. I hope the temps don't drop too quickly! I hate cold, and will count the days until time to plant my garden again, next spring.

300U: Will keep your wife in thought and prayer. I agree with others. I think it is better to know what you face, and have a plan. Easier to channel energy into healing, that way.

Got a hot pot of coffee brewing. 20° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 33° with mostly sunny skies today. We got a light coating of snow yesterday evening. But sidewalks and drive are clear. Need to get front blade on tractor. Then dig out snow shovels and ice melter. Before we really need it.
Irv, glad they found your wifes cancer before it spread. Prayers for a speedy recovery.

good morning all. yup, it's flurrying a tiny bit out there, the temps are dropping fast and the radar shows the big front of cold air dropping down. We'll see if Larro gets a flurry today! Probably not, would confuse the alligators.

I have an interesting day planned. After I found six hundred bucks hidden in one drawer, my sister is coming over and we will have a type of easter egg hunt, find the money... I would always go to the bank and if I took out three hundred bucks from the ATM, I always gave Nadene two hundred, and she would always smile and tuck it away. She was a bit of a pack rat so it should be an interesting day.

I took all Nadene's jewelry, and tried to pick out the good stuff, vs. the costume jewelry. Not easy for a guy to do.
But I will have helpers... I gave Nadene's sister the little pinkie ring that Nadene always wore, and gave my SIL a nice gold chain. Something for them to remember Nadene by.

Now my sister, who I adore..., she will come over and have everything laid out in front of her, and she gets to pick. No matter what it is, she's pretty minimalist and definitely not materialistic, so I don't expect her to zoom in on the diamond tennis bracelet just because it's worth thousands. She will likely take a little pin or some goofy costume jewelry.
I don't care, it's the memory. I'm going to get thirty to fifty cents on a dollar to sell all the stuff; luckily I have a trusted jeweler in town that I can literally hand it all to and expect to get a fair deal.

I did keep her favorite manatee necklace, and that plus our wedding rings will hang on my office lamp. I need to keep something too. They are just things, but they are full of love.

31*, cloudy and windy. Yep, like Roy, the 80% chance of rain/snow was a no-show and the temp forecast was off by 10*. Nothing about that forecast was right. :laughing:

The forecast is for hovering around freezing today and down to 15* tonight, but dry.

Buppies' kitchen remodel experience has run into the old debate about tiling under cabinets or not when doing interior finishing.

Good Morning. 0945, sunny, 59* with 81% humidity. Forecast for high of 73* and low of 37*. We are right on the edge of the frost warning area. But if we don't get it tonight, we will tomorrow. I will run up to Marianna later this morning. Need corn for the deer and will hit all the thrift stores while I'm there.

Drew, good luck with the scavenger hunt. I hadn't been in my gun room in a long time. I even had trouble finding the keys when I had to get my bow out before the season started. Since I was in there, I opened up the gun safe. I found several hundred dollars I had put away when we had all those hurricanes a few years back. {you never know when the lights will be off for a week} I had completely forgot about it. {now it is in the fireproof safe} And on the jewelry front, most of the time there is a 1600% markup over the price of the gold and diamonds when you buy new. My friend runs a pawnshop, and when I used to buy jewelry for Margie, I always bought from him. She isn't really into jewelry, so she told me to stop buying it for her.
