A bit icy outside...just took the dog out about 10 minutes ago and slipped on the deck.
Per the local weather station, it's 36 degrees right now and a high of 43 predicted. Rain and snow showers are in today's forecast.

good morning all. My two hours of blowing leaves and yard work yesterday made my carpal tunnel go wild and I was up half the night pouring hot water on my wrists, and gulping pain pills. I love my gravely tractor, but it is really high effort to operate/steer and it seems everytime I use it for awhile my right arm goes nuts. I have put off an operation on my right wrist for years, just couldn't put myself out of commission with Nadene being sick.
But now it's time to take care of myself.

Geez, aches, pains, pills, what's the matter with us geezers?
I'll be leaving tomorrow in the motorhome searching for the Fountain of Youth.
Wasn't it supposed to be in Florida? Nice and warm down there....hmmmmm.

Going to try to get some outside errands done before the weather gets miserable tonight and tomorrow. Cold rain just above the freezing line. Might be a good night to light the fireplace.

Been thinking about Jim and his trials with chemo. And many others. Be safe and well out there.

Ron, it sure is easier to steer. And I'm going to drive it down to my brother's place in Delaplane VA for Thanksgiving, which I'm really looking forward to.

Good Morning! 53˚ mostly clear skies, light variable winds.
Tomorrow is the big change with north winds up to 25 mph by noon and temps dropping to the 30s at night.
I need to get the wood for the WBS ready to go today.
