I started cleaning off the porch so I could pressure wash it. But when I took a load out to the barn I got side tracked. A couple of weeks ago we took the carpet out of the Game Room at work, and I brought it home. I moved everything from one side to the other and laid some carpet down over the dirt floor. Mamma came over for dinner, and after we ate I put her to work cleaning some of the tables and chairs I had moved off the porch.
We have an old family joke about when she went to help out a lady who was close to having a baby. One day she stopped by and made a pan of biscuits for the family. The next time she stopped by, she was just sitting and talking. One of the little kids told her, "they ain't no use in you coming if you ain't going to work." So that is what I told her today. They ain't no use coming if you ain't going to work.

David glad you got to enjoy your girls at the fair sounds like you all had a lot of fun well deserved fun. Drew where you and Nadine are looks beautiful. Do not not know much about those areas as spent most of my time in sales below the Mason-Dixon Line and the beauty there rivals anything I have seen. Territory was from Va. to Missouri south to Texas and Puerto Rico as an add. Each area had its own unique beauty. Glad this week is over

09-28-2013 Currently 54 degrees. High of 71 expected. I couldn't sleep. I have been working outside, getting ready for winter, and I plan to burn my Burn Pile today. I have always had a hard time sleeping when I have plans and projects to execute.

45 degrees this morning and going up to the mid 70's today! Working on the painting this weekend and then heading off to Florida next week for a convention. Nice break away from preparing for our Daughters wedding in October!

I woke up at about 0530 and could not go back to sleep.
I have a couple hours to work on various projects and then I'm headed up Northern Virginia way to a wedding & reception for a good friend. I've booked myself a Hotel near Dulles. Then I need to hurry home Sunday Morning to pickupmy youngest for our Play Date...
Looks like the weather today & tomorrow will be nice. Sunny and 75 (sounds like a song title...)

Coffee is brewing. 51 degrees with light fog again this morning. Heading to 77 and lots of sun today. Sure cannot complain about the weather we have been having this week. Yesterdays visit to Gilmore Car Museum was very interesting. Did get to see a couple of older tractors. I thought a Sears conversion kit to a Model A Ford interesting.
