when it all boils down to it...there isn't much one can do besides roll with the punches, is there?
That doesn't mean anyone has to be, or should be complacent. One does have to work to attain their goals....I'm at the age where the goals aren't as high as they once were...

I ended up mowing today, not pressure washing. Had a late afternoon shower, just over a tenth of an inch. The sun was trying to come out when I was walking the trash up to the road. Looked pretty cool, so I took a few pictures. It wasn't really this dark, it's just the sun was tricking the light meter.

Mid 70's today, sunny for the next seven. I may mow some grass later, if I can find the lawn mowers and swap the bushhog back on. Odd year for me cutting grass, I did not miss it. No painting last night, maybe this w/e.

Good morning, foggy on the way into work today. 50 now heading to 73.

Got rid of a lot of junk (previous owner left) in a dump run yesterday, then picked up an auxiliary work light kit for my Gator. I've read the installation instructions and I'll see if I figure out the supplied wiring harnesses (3 harnesses came with the kit...depends on where the lamps are installed. That will likely be a Saturday job.
When we bought this place, the seller left an old component stereo system. Not the top drawer stuff, but it sounded good for 20+ years old. I picked up a CD player to replace the phonograph...that was another chore completed. Sounds pretty good and nice to listen to some Allison Krauss, Roy Orbison and The Band again.
Today...well, I do the stuff I was planning on doing yesterday...mowing the fenced in area of the yard...other odds and ends.

Might hear something about that job I had interviewed for (on Monday)...also got an e-mail response for another job, but it's about 100 miles north east of here...
