40 degrees this morning and I am having trouble figuring out if that is inside temp or outside. We have not started the furnace is a couple years and it is a bit early to have a wood fire.
But, not to worry summer is coming back for the rest of the week anyway and temps will be in the mid 70's during the day this entire week with no chance of rain!
What day is it?

Low 70's today, it was 40 when I left, with a full moon shining on me this AM. What happened to summer?

I applied another coat of paint to my milk house project last night when i got home. I also unclogged the drain in a back room so I can take the pressure washer in there and clean out the 100 year old grease and grime layers. I still have some original electrical boxes, lines and equipment to remove from the walls. It will be my "toolshed" when I am done. I have been without a proper place for my tools for 8 months now. I am distraught.

good morning all. Another nice cool morning with a perfect day to follow.
Am starting today to move stuff off the farm into the storage locker, but first it comes home, bumps my wife's car out of the garage, and gets worked on, piece by piece. Something I enjoy very much actually. So I'll work my way through gallons of motor oil and tubes of grease and be happy as a pig in mud. And yeah, sooner or later I need to paint that garage floor, what a mosaic of memories, and oil stains, it has for me. But I can sit on my rollaround chair, crank up Jimmy Buffett headed down Route 1 to Margaritaville, and just take my time working on machinery.

I now have a ten by thirty storage locker without any ac. So....need to rig up my baby 1kw gen and string some lights in there. I'm getting tired of mowing, any of you too???...., so this will be a fun new project.

Riptides, it sounds like you are having way too much fun too. Bet there's some nice lead in that paint...asbestos, all the good stuff. Before and after pics will be neat, don't forget.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 44° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 75° with mix of sun and clouds. Packing up the motorhome for a couple of trips around Michigan. Good time to get out and enjoy the cooler weather.

39 degrees! Say what!? My hvac is on auto and about 6 the heat came on, checked to make sure I didn't have some weird setting, nope, I guess it was that cold. Oh well...

Authorities seem to think it is because of the wet summer we've had. Right now they are out of anti serum for copperheads

My cousin got bit by a copperhead in the spring and thought he was getting copperhead anti serum at the hospital but instead was getting rattlesnake anti-serum. I asked him if it helped and he said NO! he had a lot of swelling and pain for 3 days and lingering pain for 10 days.

Good Morning 74˚ getting to the nineties, partly cloudy no rain yesterday. By the time the grass dried the soil/sand was too, so there was another mowing in the dust bowl yesterday. Next change in weather will be this Saturday when a cool front will drop the temps to the 60s for the lows and 80s for the highs - for a few days.
