Coffee is brewing. 56° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 81° with sun most of the day. To much sun yesterday. But what a great time viewing all the cars. Going to stay in most of the day after cleaning up the garden pond. Heron visited while our pond while we were in OH. Fish are hiding out in the rocks and will not come out even for food. Then NASCAR this afternoon.

good morning all. Well, so much for our clouds and sun forecast. It's raining out and looks like it will all day.
Good thing I got about ten acres mowed yesterday.

So, looks like an inside day, we all need those. And Sunday is my bill pay day, so that's always fun to look forward to...not.
About seven grand in property/school taxes out the door today, always fun when you don't have kids... My oldest friend moved to Delaware and his total taxes are less than a thousand a year. Boy do I have to head South in retirement and get out of this high tax area.

52 right now and foggy. The fog is damp and makes it feel cooler then 52.
The high today is forecast to be 79.
Looks like a nice day and we (wife and I) have a shelf to install in one of the basement bedrooms.

48* this morning at 6am. The ten day forecast looks good, it may be the best stretch of summer we have had. Highs in the low to mid-80's, lows in the mid-50's, and mostly dry. Maybe some of our tomatoes will turn red even!

I'm going to work on the clearing, digging little stumps and gathering burn piles. Have a good one.

Holy Cow. 71 degrees this morning. Went out to feed horses and felt a chill. Where's my sweatshirt? :laughing: Dry air means back to 100 by late afternoon. Good day for a ride.

Wayne, I don't grow potatoes anymore, but love seeing them from people who do. Post a picture if you can/want to, please.

Drew: Property taxes are probably similar here, but we have no state and no city income taxes. Of course, school taxes are the biggest. Our county taxes are really reasonable.

65 F and still this morning. . . a good day for watering the yard and garden.

good morning 61 degrees and raining got 1/4" last night. looks like a do nothing day. wife is at the hospital with her mom today so I stay close the phone. she had a stroke thrusday morning and it was real serious for 48 hrs but doc says now things have leveled off so well see. all the family is there and it's a big one so I stay out of the way I can be there in 30 minutes. everyone have a great day.

61 and headed for 80. My doc called, I am being referred to a ortho surgeon. Hopefully I will get some answers this week. Other than that, things are good. Have a good one!
