I just love rice pudding but no more now but love to smell it. Today is a beautiful day high in low 60s so far. Have grass to mow this afternoon if work ends early. FarmGirl19 thanks for offer

Another day in Michigan. I think all my trees got frosted. 2nd year in a row that we won't get apples or pears here. We have a couple of local orchards, I don't know how they will stay in biz.

Good evening all. 54F this morning, forecast was for 89F made it to 94F broke an old record. Started rehabbing a landscape wall. errands followed by 9 holes of golf.

Finally started my tractorshed expansion today. Adding 10x24 to finally get attachments out of the weather. Also place for wife to park her mowers.

First off, that meant doing a cleanup in the area. Took a whole trailer full of junk to the transfer point. I think the wife was impressed with just how much the "new" trailer could carry.

With the ground cleared of trash, I could use the tractor FEL to start leveling - tractorshed is located downslope side of a water control berm. Purpose of the berm is to direct water on the upslope side. Water flowing down the slope will be free to run under the extension.

Looking forward to tomorrow and breaking out the laser level and seeing some visible progress.

We're unpacking...this is gonna take a while, I think!
Bella, our boxer, is starting to settle in...but it takes a while for dogs to get used to new places. I'll be glad when the fence is installed (next week) so she can run free.

Good Morning. 71˚ with a chance of showers.

My wife got startled yesterday when a big white pigeon tried to land on her shoulder. It ended up landing on the chair next to her and followed her around the yard all day. We fed it and got a pretty good look a at the leg band - it had a 335 on it. Later she had a hummingbird waiting for her when she went outside. I call her a bird magnet.

Whipper got to roll a juvenile wild hog yesterday so she was happy. (roll= run fast, jump on top, knock over, run away, laugh)
