Thanks Don. I guess that would be incentive LOL as I'm very much a meatatarian. That said, I really do like fruits and veggies. While I have no intention of cutting out meat, I'm have no problem with the concept of reducing my meat intake. My wife makes great salads, good enough to be a complete meal, especially if a bit of cheese, or hard boiled egg, or a few slices of meat added.

Yes, I will post updates. Being public is a motivator.

34 degrees here now, drizzled rain much of the night, bringing the total since Monday to 4 inches. Been up since 4 am, getting ready to go help my brother host his first garage sale of the year.

As for dieting...I have a favorite saying: "I keep trying to lose weight, but it keeps finding me."

43 degrees heading up toward 50 today. Talking winter weather advisory for Friday with sleet, snow, and freezing rain.
Sounds like a great day for me to head up north to camp for the weekend (?).

68 degrees this morning with middle 80s for high temperature with strong storms this evening. Will be a nice spring weekend with highs in the 60s to 70s but next week back in the 80s. Have a safe day!

Pot of coffee is brewing. 39 degrees with lighting, rain and a north breeze this morning. Heading to 40 with continued rain and increasing wind. Hope all our members living in Tornado are safe.
Got my mother settled into a nursing home with her being ready to accept what the future will bring. Thanks for all the wishes.

Ron, glad you got your Mom in a good spot. Must have been tough on you.
And a little meow prayer to all lost feline friends.

All the storms West of us are sure headed our way, rain here for several days and
North of us maybe even more snow. Our magnolia trees are just starting to bloom, it's just
marvelous to drive around now and see what's opened up, bringing new colors to the drab landscape.
Mother Nature putting on her Spring outfit...

Finished putting in a gravel driveway yesterday, and when done was filthy and soaked in sweat from head to toe.
it felt like a summer day, particularly when you are on the long end of a gravel rake. Luckily I had strong helpers.
The heat was nice, but I'd like a little more "normal" Spring please. None of these one week Springs like we seem to have had lately.
