Finally going to the 60's in Ohio today and the week looks great. Plant sone peas, some glad bulbs and finish pruning whatever needs pruning. Oh, and open up the barns to let some sunlight in.
Rain or showers today with a high of 13C/55F. Getting the rear car brakes done today, hope we get away with not having to replace the calipers, they are pricey little puppies.
Yesterday, I was doing a pre-inspection of my '96 Dodge pickup before taking it in for the annual state inspection sticker. The right front headlight was very dim, so I checked closer. I was shocked to see 1-1/2" of water in the bottom of the lens body. I haven't driven the truck at night or I'm sure the water would have sloshed on the hot bulb and popped it. I have new lens assemblies that I just received two weeks ago to replace very yellowed ones. I'm gonna try to get that job done today and get my pickup inspected next week. Today and tomorrow are supposed to be in the high 70s, so this should be perfect weather to do a job like this.
