The job is going OK...I enjoy it for the most part, but it has had it's "bumps in the road".
Housing...well, we found a very nice place that fits our needs and wants. It's in the Mortgage broker's hands now. As long as we get the mortgage, we'll be good to go!
Now...all this snow on the ground is not going to make it easy moving in a month!
Keep the FAITH. Everything works out eventually. Best wishes.

I looked at your pictures yesterday and could just 'hear' the ice popping/cracking in the trees and falling to the ground. Those ice storms are really pretty until the power goes out and you have to drive in black ice on the roads.

It's 33 here this morning and a slight warming trend. I told a neighbor I'd take some stumps and dead trees out for him if he'd buy my fuel. Yesterday, he came over and put a $100 bill into my hand. That's a lot of trees.:D I won't take anything but fuel money because my insurance is void if I get paid for doing jobs. I've also agreed to cover up his septic and absorption field lines after inspection. His septic guy told him to just cover the line after inspection with the same dirt that came out of the hole. I asked about adding clean gravel and geo-fabric above the line and the neighbor said the septic guy said that wasn't necessary. I'm having some doubts about that job. He's also getting fiberglass septic tanks and I've never dealt with them. I've heard they have to be carefully backfilled a little at a time and tamped to ensure water doesn't get down around the tanks and float them out of the ground. The neighbor is trying to save himself $2000 by not having the septic guy come back and cover the system after inspection. I'm thinking that anything that goes wrong in the the future will be 'my fault' according to the plumber. I can just see all this happening after one of our 5" downpours. I'm not feeling good about this at all. I didn't know about the fiberglass tanks until yesterday. All of a sudden I have alarm bells going off in my head.:confused3:

Good morning! Residual side effect of the electric fence shock have gone and slept well. It was a shock being force to grasp the barbs on the barbwire, people should not electrify barbed wire - not fun being punctured and shocked at the same time.

Ron, your area is pretty consistent with being 10˚ warmer each day.
