Looks like a few cool mostly clear days coming up. High of 2C/35F today and below freezing for the next week or so. Got a friend of a friend coming over this morning to weld on 2 hooks onto my bucket and also weld a couple of spots on my wood splitter.
Then this afternoon off to the dentist for a couple of fillings. :shocked: :thumbdown:

65F and rain, .12 since midnight making it 5.32in for the year. Sure hope it clears as I really dislike power washing in the rain.
Lumber gets delivered tomorrow. Didn't expect it quite so fast. Surprised to learn the local lumber place gives a 10% discount like HD. The girl did it manually and even explained how. When I went back and "complained" that 10% of $3000 was 300 and not 30, she readily made the change. Today is Senior discount day and I would have gotten same 10% discount, but not sure if correction would have been made or my "complaint" attributed to senioritous. LOL

Hello guys...I am in a p**** mood today, soon to be ex hired a pro mover to come and get her big stuff and she didn't give me any notice at all...REALLY ticked me off as I had to keep the four cats corralled while complete strangers were tramping all over the house. Funny thing is nobody at all in her family has lifted a finger to help her move guess that tells me something about her. 41 degrees here now and bright sun maybe if I get outside that will cheer me up a little sorry for the long winded rant...

Although in my case I did hire a trailer and haul her stuff the 280 miles to where she was moving to. It could be said that that was to make sure she was gone. :thumbsup:

Thanks for the support, guys. It truthfully amazes me how huge this place is with so much of the clutter gone. I am seriously thinking about adding a 240 volt outlet for a range and water/drainpipes for a sink in the older dining room of the original house, closing off two doorways and converting it to a kitchen and renting that part out. It has a full bath and is 800 square feet with 2 bedrooms and a separate furnace/AC. Hmmmm....the only issue is I would have to declare the rent collected as income. Got as high as 46 degrees today...seems weird for mid-January.
