Good morning, looks like a March type week ahead

Current temp 45 F or 7 C

A mix of sun and cloud. 30 percent chance of showers this afternoon. Wind west 30 km/h. Temperature falling to plus 3 C this afternoon.

Gonna shut down the pellet stove today and clean it, also plan on taking advantage of this warm but wet day doing something outdoors.

I could take every winter being like this, particularly as I grow older.

You know what, I completely forgot it was the 1/2/12 today.

For the past month or so I've been having trouble remembering what date or day it is. Usually that is my strong point as well

Looks like you didn't do too well this time either...it's actually 02-01-2012 today.
(of course, some countries use day-month-year rather then month-day-year...and the Germans use year-month-day)

:laughing: We use the Day/Month/Year system. Wouldn't have surprised me though if I had gotten it wrong.

Wow. We dodged the freezing rain bullet this morning!

Can't believe we actually hit close to 50F downtown, around 45 up here on the hill. For the first time in months, my driveway is totally clear. Pavement sure looks nice!

Had some nice sun this afternoon, now it's starting to rain... weird winter, for sure.

Walt and Thomas seems like our weather is about the same. We are just southwest of Concord so we get that hot sir flow from the capital! As for snow in shaded areas I have about 5 inches, more ice than snow though. Frost is deep and can稚 wait to see what mud season is going to be like.

36 F this morning and calm, guess this is the start of our February Thaw after having near a full month of January Thaw!
