Carpet and base...hmmm, will be happy to do that for you if you mud, tape, and sand the drywall already installed in my 18X40 half basement...ceiling included. Will furnish all materials and tools needed as part of the bargain. Have calcuated the total surface area at about 1800 square feet.

My mudding and taping looks like a chimp with a pushbroom did it....:laughing:

And I use 4X the joint compound a pro would use...a quarter stays on the wall, a quarter gets dripped on the floor, and the last half gets sanded off or cleaned off tools and my hands.

Good morning all. Had a strong wind storm last night, lights flickered and dimmed 7-9 times and we lost power 3 times, interestingly only for 1 or 2 each time. Will have a look this morning to see if we have some firewood trees down Looks like showers today before we get hit by another wind/rain storm forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday.

Thermometer reads 34 this AM after a night of rain, but my driveway's a skating rink!! Just enough rain, and temps just cold enough to cover all my sand; I can see it, under the nice clear ice.

Poured first cup of coffee. 72 wet degrees this morning. Heading to 82 with some wind. Got some rain this morning. First since we arrived on January 1. It was light and will not amount to much. Just enough to require washing the car and RV. Gives me something to do.

Good morning everyone. 25F heading to the mid 50's. The mild winter continues.

Have a couple of meetings today, then several bids to work on. Should be a busy day. My FIL is here for the next couple of days. He doesn't understand that I "work" from home. He is always ends up in my office wanting to talk. Sigh.
