Come on over to my place. we have deer coming out our ears (and I can't shoot with a busted collarbone!) But I have been sorely tempted and if I saw one while my 9mm was on my hip working on tractor, I'd have tried...

MossFlowerWoods: Oh how I would love to visit Va and see your place. I love horses and could help you out with their care. I have some experience in that arena.

Came home from an unsuccessful hunt, (because it was supposed to rain) only to find 5 really nice deer in my back yard. Don't shoot them here though. Hasn't rained here yet! I think Army Grunt may be gettin some of it though.

It's right at 50* right now and headed for 70. Still calling for a slight chance of rain. May head back to the woods!

How much Hoovering have you done today ?

Shook out all the rugs (actually carpet remnants) the four litterboxes sit on and cleaned the boxes. Our litterboxes are actually what Menards (home improvement chain store) calls a concrete mixing tubs. They are 2X3 feet and hold a LOT of litter, and the high sides retain much of it when our youngest feline starts digging, he treats it like a kid would a sandbox, throwing litter everyplace. Cost about $14 each with tax but well worth the cost.

I know what you mean about throwing the litter out the box - Buttons does that a lot.

Ah the weekends. . . great for sleeping in. Just got up to a overcast 43 F. We don't expect temperatures to rise much and it may make it to mid/upper 50s by this afternoon. It'll be a good day for puttering around an watching football.
