It was made in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan....probably 1950-1960 vintage

It has probably been 40, or perhaps 50 years since metal housing power tools were commonplace, they had a grounded cord. When plastic housing, double insulated tools came out, those had only two prong cords. I was sure a fellow like you would find OLD and WELL MADE stuff interesting.

Well, the cold sure has hit here today.

Started out at 34F at 3AM, then dropped all day, in spite of all the sunshine (which was nice, I admit). Got home this afternoon to 9F, now it's around 4F and expected ot go below zero tonight. Oh, and the wind.... Not anywhere near Jamie's, but steady all day long. Really cold out there!

Yep. Now 4 below zero F here, and still a steady breeze... but it's shifting now from NW to almost due West..... keeping the woodstove stoked up!
