25 degrees and clear @ 0500 when I got up. 2 cups of coffee in me now and I'm ready for a third. All of the Christmas reciepts are entered into the computer now (wow).

Jmurray--yes, I believe some of those memory-holding/backup batteries CAN operate the beeper independently when the low-battery warning function engages. Test the battery to see if it's dying.

Good morning to all. It is 22* and overcast here. Supposed to hit a high of 40* today and more rain forecast for tomorrow. I have been trying to clean up downed trees and branches in my woods. Made some headway yesterday, but this rain is really making it difficult. I have some drainage issues that need fixed.

25 here headed to 40. Hard to believe last Dec we had over 50 inches of snow and this year just over 5 inches with less than a inch at any one time. Though it seemed like we had 50 inches of rain as much of it that came down.

Welcome to TBN and the "Good Morning" thread....yes, it seems weird we have had such a mild winter so far in the midwest...I am dreading the payback later on in the winter or early spring. Newspaper here reported today that this area has only had 3.6 inches of snow in December, and the normal snowfall is 4X that much. Season to date is 11.8 inches and we got 10 inches of it in one night.

Good morning all. Nice out now that the overnight rain has moved on. Looks like more rain later today and over night. Got my niece and grand niece here for a few days. Took the 4 year old to help collect eggs. Pretty amazed :thumbsup: :cloud9: that she can count to 70, that's the number of eggs we got so far this morning.
