Would that cause it to use the battery to keep powering the beeper even when the mains power was turned off ?

Yes, another pitiful night of little sleep. I guess the "trip to the woodshed" with my subconscious did little good. (Yikes - SMH - starting to worry about us 
)
Anywho - saw the clock turn 1:30, then went to sofa, dozed, awake at 3:15, dozed off till 5:30...
It's 32 outside and supposed to hit 52.
I DID buy a new set of pallet forks yesterday. I hope to take advantage of the mild temps and get some seat time today using the forks.

Good morning. Off work today, I start midnights tomorrow night. The outside temp is 28 heading to a high of 34. I got a few things to do this morning then I will start my morning coffee. Everyone enjoy your day.

21 and headed into the mid 30's here. I dislike this weather, I'd rather it freeze up and stay there than rain / snow / mud that we are getting.

Today is my birthday, 56 big ones, I think.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GIZZER, OOPS, that's GIZMO. :laughing: Only 6 years or so to collecting Social Security.
We call our youngest cat Gizzer sometimes, it's a slang word for "Geezer"...:laughing:
Wife and I never forget our birthdays as we are exactly one week apart, hers is the 15th, mine the 22nd.
Weatherwise it is 18 degrees, we got 2 inches of wet snow yesterday and it froze, but the forecast says it will melt later today. Going to devote much of today to fixing things, a carpet cleaner (Little Green Machine) and a few other things.
