Good morning all. 27 degrees in beautiful Missouri heading for the upper 40's

Don't tell my wife, but I had the last piece of thanksgiving's pumpkin pie for breakfast...ala mode. I LOVE this time of year.

Day trip for work today. Heading to the Ozarks.

Good Morning everyone, Cold, 27 degrees, with a warming trend until the weekend, then rain or some snow over the weekend predicted, then back in the freezer for next week..Winter has finally come to the ozarks.

26 F this morning, while still and dry. . .seems magically much warmer outside and later will be near to 60 F. Wife is dropping grandson off at school and going to her parents today. I'm left here alone to my own devices. I'll load up half a dozen diesel cans and go get them filled later this morning then spend some quality time on the tractor since I'll be too broke to do anything else after paying for the fuel.

40 degrees here. Am I the only one here that has to go to work and is not retired. I think I am feeling sorry for myself.

I am working too!

Worse yet (not a political statement) with the current economic news worldwide, I'm NEVER gonna be able to retire!

Plus, with a 2 year old DAUGHTER still in the house, two older also, I need to work for 20 more years REGARDLESS Just to pay for college and weddings!

Regular Gas at Costco is $3.10, local to me $3.13.

How are prices in your area?

Our prices are similar plus or minus about $0.10. Thirty gallons of fuel is $110 to $115. My full-size TLB burns around 1-1/2 gal/hr when I work it hard, so I get about 20 hr work on 30 gallons of fuel; so $5.75 per hour in fuel.

28 today! Much colder than just a couple days ago! I've been sleeping with the window open a bit on my side of the bedroom. Last night I got up and closed it around 2am.

Up at 0415, the heat pump fired up and woke me up.

It is December already!?!?! I'm not ready for December, too many projects & injuries...

But I did get my first 10% off TSC coupon...:thumbsup:
