Big "heat wave" coming in to give Spring a jump start.
60 out right now, 6am, and going up into the low Eighties. Eighties. Aahhhhh.
Warm up that ground so planting can begin...

Got the first two rows of potatoes in yesterday. Sure was fun to get my hands in the dirt.

Roy, I've got a box fan I can use, will plug it in on the front porch and point it N/NW.
Will try to get some of this heat up to you...:thumbsup:

59 degrees this morning heading up to low 80s today snow is all gone trees are budding and flowers are ready to put on their show grass is growing and soon will need second cutting. Wow spring has sprung!

36*F with gentle rain this morning. Could be rainy most of the week.

Two dozen robins are cruising the yard waiting for the rain to bring up some worms. Last evening at dusk a moose came to visit, stood about 30 feet from the house and gawked around for a bit. Probably the same one that knocked over my mailbox last week--delinquent mooses. :laughing:

Yesterday I sharpened the lawn mower blades, replaced the wobbly idler pulley and belt, and got the deck back on. Spring is coming and I was getting tired of walking around the deck anyways.

Wild pigs, cactus and mesquite, my hardy front yard landscape that require no care or maintenance.

Picture taken from front porch. Whipper only controls the acre around the house. Whipper knows these are outside that area and are only harassed by request.

Don prefer's the wood, weeds and cacti... He's an herbivore by choice and extreme discipline...
