David, I have no doubt that you deserve every tool, toy, and possession you have and wanted to have. Now you are starting to give up possession you can always regain at some point for what you can't replace. I think to us who've followed you, this exercise is something you need. I'm reminded of the refrain from the Rolling Stones Song:

Good afternoon all. 30F going to 53F and sunny. Riding has minimal to no hills(Katy trail) average speed is about 13.5 m/hr average heart rate about 130 bpm. 283 miles in March. 3 events signed up for, Cottonwood 200, Bike across Kansas (500m) and Missouri Parks Katy Trail ride (200m). Trying to loose weight and build up cardio-vascular system.

I couldn't believe my eyes this morning when I woke up. It was SNOWING outside. Good thing it didn't stick. It's April and SUPPOSED to be spring not cold and snowing. :confused2:

We do need the moisture but why couldn't it just rain instead of snow? lol

I hope the weather clears up as I need to get my engine switched out in my truck. I believe the head gasket on the current engine is about to go. I've been putting the engine swap off for to long now and if I don't get the engine swapped soon. I just know the gasket is gonna blow when I'm out in the middle of nowhere.

I'm supposed to go to Arkansas in a few months with my parents. I'll be following them with my truck. So I'm definitely gonna have to swap that engine out before I go.

I can have the old one out and the new one "Actually a used engine out of my dads old truck" in within a day, thing is I just gotta get started on it. I keep procrastinating.

If the weather's nice and nothing else comes up, I hope to get the new engine installed this week.

Then I'll put the old engine back and overhaul it sometime when I have the money.

My parents actually headed to Cove Arkansas This morning as their house and shed there got broke into. Someone stole my dads old air compressor and some other items he had in the shed.

Funny thing is, whoever stole the air compressor got themselves a piece of s**t lol. The thing's made of an old well pressure tank and the tank is rusted out at the bottom leaking air really bad at one of the weld seams. :laughing: It's irreparable and the motor and compressor are about shot too.
