Yesterday was a really nice day with temperatures in the 70 s .worked in back yard left about 2:30 and went for a ride with family. Went up Blacksburg Road into Montgomery County onto 460 West to Pearisburg Va. We were starving so stopped at a place called the Bank in the middle of downtown. A diamond in the ruff with very good food and interesting history of the building which was built in the early 1900s. Even got to watch a thunderstorm or two. Raining this morning yuck. There are only three of us left so trips like these are very special. Happy Saint Patricks Day

Went to Front Royal yesterday for the oldest grandson's birthday, took the 14 month old and daughter with us, the son in law had to work. Weather there was like here partly sunny mid 50's. None of the rain they called for save a shower or two. Today is cold and dreary.

Frosty start to the day but looks like it will be sunny with a high of 10C/50F.

David, perhaps when the horses go today it may make things a bit easier, wishing you and the family the best.

27 when I woke this morning went all the way up to 30 now! Made tomato sauce this morning house smells good olive oil and garlic. Just waiting for wife to tell me what I need to do for the rest of day off.

63F, overcast. Looks like yesterday's storm is still here, but not raining right now.
Off to pot luck breakfast and garage/yard sale at friends - I made a bacon/sausage, egg and potato casserole.

Drank my coffee early today. 23 degrees this morning. Heading to 32 with sun today. Late today. Still making trips to my mothers to make sure she is following doctors directions.

David, I know that sometimes we do what we know is the right thing to do then question ourselves! Know it is difficult watching them leave. Just think of the added time you can spend with your family, and one less expense for now. Hope this works out for your family.
