Drew, I have no problem with a lobster, shrimp, etc, but would be a lesser farmer than you with poultry or live stock. Firstly, wife says meat comes on one of those white/yellow trays wrapped in clear plastic. I joke that should I attempt chickens I’d have to have a processing area for the non layers. Even more realistically, she has said anything we had would become a pet. Just another expense

Good evening to the morning crew. I don't post here often, but read the morning thread daily.
It's 32 degrees at 3 minutes before the new year with an inch of new wet snow, just turning
to rain as I type.
I want to extend best wishes all on the Good Morning thread and on TBN for a healthy and
prosperous new year.

When I took the Corvette into town for it's State Inspection, a couple of weeks ago, it was raining and it got filthy. I took advantage of the warm weather today to give her a bath.

Happy New Years 2019 to all!

Great looking C4, I love the style, but the rocker height and floor level make them hard for me getting out. I almost bought a C5 several years ago.

HAPPY NEW YEARS and good night.

Agreed. My '67 was much easier to get in and out of.

Good morning and Happy New Year !

We are starting 2019 with some surprise rain that hadn't read the "1%" prediction. Not complaining though, I can now take my time before moving the sheep, their drinking water was about gone when I checked late afternoon yesterday.

LS, I've heard all Schnauzer's are intelligent dogs, your puppy should be a lot of fun and well worth the long journey.

Eric - Assembler. With paper tape, mag tapes, and card punchers. I am not that old, I just found a niche at the right time.

The computers were Xerox Sigma III's and Xerox Sigma V's. They filled 1/4 of a building. Used for imagery analysis.

Just getting them "booted" took a magic dance, switches flipped, tape drives cleaned and tapes mounted, paper tape reader and paper in excellent working order, and the card deck better have not been messed with.
Rip, you were real hands on. We got to punch our own cards but then had to pass them over, through a sort of serving hatch, to young ladies on the other side who were paid to feed them into a reader on our behalf - students were not even trusted to be in the same room as the computer !

Happy New Year all!

21 and going down to a high of 7°F.Wind NNW 17 gusting to 29 mph.
It is snowing out and so far we've got about 6". The snow is supposed to stop around noon or so. We could get a foot or more.

I was out yesterday, the first time I left the house since Christmas and although I didn't get out of the Dodge and it hurt a little by the time I was done, I am still mobile enough to plow today.

Have a good day all
