On the chainsaw saga. It looks to pass the pressure test holding 10 psi but seems to fail on the vacuum test getting only down to 5 inchHg and then dropping to zero when stopping the pumping. Points to oil seal failures because during vacuum the seal lips get sucked in and leaking.

Its common on a 2 stroke, when the crank seals failed, you would get a "run away" wide open lean condition, due to an "extra air intake". Many a rider have flipped over backwards on bigger 2 stroke dirtbikes due to this.

Unfortunately this morning had to visit tooth fairy. Now I have one molar less....
Surgery went well, ok still some pain, but not critical.
That dental clinic today have 5 years anniversary and they were throwing for customers of today a lottery. I won 50 € coupon. Not bad


On my way back spotted such interesting car

That car has VS plate, means car is more than 25 years old and is in mint condition. Noone can have those VS plates cheap. Here our DMV have group of special experts for evaluating such old cars.


Later went to our DMV to put wife's Tesla on our license plates. I bought that car in Germany, as Elon is selling Teslas cheaper there. But then I had to drive around 6 m on German plates. For e-cars registration fees are ridiculously small.

North Bay trip was 'uneventful for me, but I did see two guys getting hi speed awards. Sux to be them.
Don't have to go again until November....maybe.
Tomorrow will be a dump run and then get baked.
Traditionally, Thanksgiving is supposed to be turkey day, but this year we are doing a ham. I might make a sweet potato pie for me or a 1/2 serving of candied yams. Junior doesn't like sweet potatoes, must be the scotchman in him.

Nice day. Wednesday night my wife commented she had never been to Ocean City MD. She can’t say that now.
Stopped by work, turned in my computers and badge, then 3+ hours later we ate lunch at an old place in OC.

Walked about 3 miles on the boardwalk. Hundreds of old cars in for the car show

Then we drove up to rehoboth beach. The boardwalk there is changed a lot from what I remember from my trips there in college.

Good evening all. 59ºF for the start, overcast light breeze. Light win til afternoon then moderate. Sky stayed cloudy till late morning then variable cloudy rest of day, high temp was 82ºF. 10 day has been flirting with rain, might get some Wednesday, temp outlook more seasonable. Dentist appointment to start day, gopher made new mound before I left so left him a smoke bomb on way out the door. Appointment went well, no new issues. After leaving dentist had 2 police pull up behind me and turned lights on. When I pulled of road into parking lot they turned off lights and left. Guess I was not who they were looking for. Picked up lunch before heading home. Bike ride when I got home, riding at lunch time does not help me ride any faster . Nap after lunch, then dinner at Stepdaughter's.
Don thanks for info on growing strawberries. Would been fun to se what the face painter would have come with for you. Hope the wolf's snout works.
Buppies seams awfully soon for freezing temps.

good morning all
cooler 46 out, high of 60 in sun today
yesterday did not go as planned, was cleaning out garage and within 30 seconds got dizzy and started dry retching.
Something I just don't do....
came inside, drank half a glass of milk, and that sure helped. Hadn't taken my antacid pills that morning and two cups of coffee did me in.
Felt crummy for hours and then by afternoon felt better but called off the driveway scraper build.
Feel fine this morning, one cup of coffee and then a glass of water is probably better for me, long history of acid reflux.

those tractors at the beach are seriously high horsepower for the job. Wonder why they felt they needed 380 hp to pull a sand leveler.

I try and try yesterday to get leaf clean up but after 6 hours of blowing results were I be heading out again shorty and try again,gonner be long day outside.
