Ed- I do not know how I missed your post. This "M-Deity" is a jerk. Political discussion should never involved in treatment. I hope that you and your wife find a better doctor. I am also saddened to read about your Mom's roommate's med reaction/sleeplessness. I bet your Mom hears plenty of "screamers" and "yellers" at night on a good night. Hopefully no "roamers" come visiting. It's not easy living in a longterm care facility. It's not easy working in one either. Hang in there.
CWB- Thanks for sharing the moose pictures. They are around here, but rarely encountered. Usually they come visiting the cows in estrus.
I woke up to another 2.75" of snow this AM.
Regarding the modeled March 20 - 22 storm- From this AM's discussion from the NWS/Taunton,MA:
"Operational models favor the stormier scenario. Temperature profiles
favor snow inland and a rain/snow mix in the coastal plain, with
potential for several inches inland should all of this develop. The
model differences, run-to-run changes, and the uncertainty
inherent in a Day 6 forecast continue to suggest caution in
being too detailed in this part of the forecast just yet."
It is entirely possible that the two "involved" separate LP systems crossing the N and S CONUS do not merge and each one scoots out to sea separately with different weather.
My + prayers, thoughts, and wishes for all.
