Good morning! 67˚F cloudy .01" rain early and a 30% chance of more. I need it to help the fertilizer dissolve in the yard so it can be a pretty dark shade of green.

Hope it is just a minor thing Buppies.

Drew hope your shoulder decides not to give you grief and don't plan anything for tomorrow in case you have flu like symptoms from the second shot. For me it was a 36hour thing.

Have any of you done any research as to which vaccine you would prefer, if you had a choice?
My wife prefers the J&J and will be searching it out next week when 1-c opens. It is a traditional vaccine not the mRNA.

We weren't selective and took "first available". I got the Moderna, wife received the Phyzer. We're both now 4 weeks post 2nd vaccinations.

IMHO .. if people start getting picky .. it will just gum up the works.

thanks Don. They took me in early for vaccine shot, easy as before but xray dept which is a walk in deal was booked six ahead of me.
I groaned and the nice lady said come back next week at 6:30am and there will be no one in line. Yeah. Much better idea, so I came home to work
on the new computer. Really stabbing pains in shoulder but since right one is starting to hurt a little too, worries me this is more severe OA and now I need
my shoulders rotorooted. Have to get this fixed before lower back operation. Hoping an epidural will keep this old race horse going.
Give me the good drugs (but not the opioids) and send me out the door.

warm and grey out, clearing a bit. Fun to see all the bulbs start to lift their heads out of the ground. Tulips just popped in front garden.
I see now I planted in areas where the snow mounds and water
sat so may have rotted some of my bulbs.
And I guess if I want to see any of those tulip bulbs I'd better get some form of netting in there.
The deer will eat them all and then take a dump on my walkway in thanks.

Mornin,

Buppies - god luck today !
Drew - be careful with the shoulder, don't push it today

Neighbor gave me a gift restaurant card for doing the plowing-nice couple really like helping them out.

PopG- we used to use up the O2 tanks when hungover and the maintenance guys for our planes would get quite upset when they had to recharge them.

Stay safe be well, still not out of the DH though

I'd take any choice at this point. The J&J study showed it reaching a lower effectiveness initially, but after a month or six weeks, I read that they're all the same.

Good afternoon, hard to hear the birds outside with so much blarting of ewes and lambs going on all day long.

BEF, LoRa wireless is marvellous at going long distances while using very little power. I would be interested to hear how your mail box monitor performs.

My first home made device using LoRa went in the field at the end of January and has been working without dropping any radio packets every since. At the rate at which people are using the footpath the transmitter batteries should theoretically last over 3 years, a design tweak should easily more than double that.

LS, will commission on Grillo sale be ok in pounds - or would you prefer gravel ? :giggle:

Hope everything goes well today Bups.

45°F and cloudy this morning, going up to 57° today. Back to wearing a jacket this morning. No rain expected until later this afternoon.

Hope everything goes well for you today, Buppies.

Good Morning!!!! 51F @ 6:45AM. Sunny. High 69F. Winds NW at 10 to 15 mph.
No rain yesterday, but the 10-day says to expect showers on and off throughout the forecast. Doesn't like there's any Pineapple Express showing up anytime soon, though.

A few months ago, Drew, somebody guessed what I thought was a secure password and hacked my main email account. They sent an altered copy of one of my outgoing emails to a number of my contacts attemtpting to driect them to a website that would somehow hack their computers. Like you, I'd used that same password for many accounts, because it didn't involve any financial info I thought, who cares? Well it was a PITA explaining to all those people what happened, and somewhat embrassing, too. I use 1Password to manage passwords on the laptops and iPhone, an it will automatically generate very secure passwords. Took a long time, but I eventually got through changing all those passwords so that they're all unique. As an added bonus, 1Password includes a plugin for web browsers that makes it a point and click deal to enter username/password combos for logins. Works on the iPhone, too. Minor updates are free, major upgrades involve a small fee. I'm glad to pay it for the peace of mind it brings.

Hope things went OK for you today, Buppies, and you're recovering quickly.

Nice you can be so accommodating to the local critters, Bill.

I did get my two steel pallets cut up yesterday, in large part due to the new bigger zip discs. Not only does the extra diameter last longer, it gives me a shallower angle to reach in and cut the welds. They also cut faster, so it took much less time to get through the slice and dice. I also used some Norton hard abrasive wheels to grind off the remnants of the weld beads, and they cut a lot faster than the Harbor Freight cheapies I'd been using.

Town run this morning, then back into the shop to get the steel cut to length and welded into more hoops. With a little luck I'll be back splitting wood again tomorrow.

TGIF gang!🍻

Good morning to all! Low of 35, going up to 60 today. Windy again, but now they are again forecasting a 50% chance of rain / snow for tomorrow.... that would be nice....

Buppies, glad the procedure went well, prayers sent for a speedy recovery! Good that you are pain free.(y)

Ron, nice pic... that definitely rivals any out here, you just have more clouds :)

Eric, the commission would gladly be accepted in gravel! .... with all this darn knee pain, I am thinking not the kind made from stone....o_O

Kyle, hopefully you didn't have too hard of a time with your son... as always, you stepped up to being a great Dad!
If I had a choice, both the wifey and I agree to get the J&J vaccine. Not sure if it will happen that way.

Don, hope you find the gremlin messing with the tractor. Hopefully there is only one.....

Drew, sorry to hear you are having the upper back / shoulder issues. The wifey's OA / RA has been acting up in her upper back and neck.... she finds it very difficult to get any relief. It can be very aggravating to say the least...

Package delivery has been very successful as of late.... hopefully I didn't jinx myself.... supposed to get an add-on slip clutch for the tractor today. It would make 4 for 4 deliveries on schedule this week.

I think I have lined up enough projects for myself.... now I just have to get back my mobility.... since starting PT, the knee does not seem to want to progress forward... walking is more difficult, pain substantially increases by early evening, sleeping has become more difficult. I really thought I would be going the other direction.... I am glad that I am stubborn... not going to give up... I have been dealing with this for almost 3 years... what's a little longer right?

I hope everyone has a great day and start to the weekend!

Have any of you done any research as to which vaccine you would prefer, if you had a choice?

They all have pros and cons, I would gladly have taken either of them after I researched them. As of 9:40 tomorrow I’ll be considered fully vaccinated. (2 weeks after second dose)

And I had virtually nothing with the second shot, amazing how that is.

Low of 54, currently 71, third day in the seventies. Sweatshirt had to go.
Cloudy until right now but the sun just popped out. Gracie got her grooming this morning and she’s sporting a new bandana.

Buppies, thinking of you.
