RNG, I can tell you our premiums are $200 per month higher on Medicare than my wife's Blue Cross was.
Hmm, Medicare is much cheaper than our BCBS was. Since we use our Medicare a lot more than we want to. The only cost we have are our monthly premiums. No copay or deductibles. Our BCBS had all kinds of copays and deductibles. We are on a supplemental F plan with BCBS. The most expensive in Michigan. If wife did not have health conditions that keep us from picking another plan we would switch.
Pays to shop for a plan that suits you best. But remember as you age you will need Medical assistance more. Price is not everything.
